While this certainly is not the most economical painters tape on the market as the old adage goes you get in this life very much what you pay for! In the past I have struggled with other brands of masking tape especially on rough surfaces such as brickwork. The Scotch Rough Surface tape adheres perfectly to the roughest of surfaces and it sticks first time and does not lose adhesion like other inferior brands. What I also really like about the product is that when it comes time to remove the tape it comes off rapidly and does not leave any sticky residue. The other outstanding quality is that unlike the cheaper brands it does not disintegrate when tearing off strips and the size of the roll / width is perfect for most applications. Sure it costs more, but with this product you will consume a lot less tape than lessor brands which you have to apply extra to adhere to rough surfaces. Now I have disposed of all other brands of masking tape and only use this one as it is an absolute pleasure to work with.

This painter's tape is excellant, with a strong adhesive but still a painter's tape and removes easily. Highly recommend over the blue, cheaper tape.

I bought this specifically for a paint job on concrete outside. It's a little pricey but a good value as you get what you pay for. It works very well and adheres well. It's easy to use too. The thickness was good for our job and roll itself is a good size as well. Should last for few small jobs. It didn't let the paint leak or bleed much either. Need some tougher painters tape than the good ol blue roll? Give this stuff a try it's worth the extra $. Recommended.

This particular painted state has excellent adhesion but at the same time can be removed after 2 weeks of being applied even with a heavy layer of paint over the edge. A little more expensive than some of the competition but worth it for a quality job.

This tape adheres to concrete and will stay in place for a couple of days. It can leave a residue if you leave it on "too" long, but I'm not sure I could define "too" long other than more than a couple of days. I used it to keep tarps in place on a paver driveway. It did the job. Since I needed several rolls, I found the cost on Amazon to be significantly better than at Home Depot or Lowes.

Good size for multiple tasks. Good value. Quality thickness, easy to tear. Strong stick to surface without ruining working area. Adheres to brick fireplace.
