Claytons Kola Tonic -750ml

The Kola Tonic was one that my husband enjoyed back in the islands. It is the original product and not a substitute. Kudos to the seller who packed it great so that even though the box was a little smashed, the bottles were in perfect shape.

This was interesting. I understand it's good with lemonade, and a favorite in South Africa. I liked it, but don't think that my solution in the title produces anything inferior to this rather expensive stuff. If it was a concentrate at the price charged, that would be a lot more palatable.

I have been looking for Kola tonic because it is called for in Ted Haigh's Vintage Spirits and Forgotten Cocktails to make a prohibition era cocktail called the 'Filmograph Cocktail.' SUCCESS! I think this is the real deal.

I liked everything about this drink. It's perfect with rum or any other drink

This is a pleasant, nutty tasting drink that is full of flavor. You can mix it with rum or drink it as is.
