Very Nice Retrofit Light - Good Adjustment Angles
OK, lets start with the fact I ordered 5000K and received 3000K. I actually ordered two of these, one came correct and the other not. That was a pain, but I will never ding a product review for a shipping error. As for the product itself, they work perfectly and the angle of adjustment to point the focus of the light is decent enough. I am not sure is these actually output 120W though. This is purely my perspective, but they don't seem much brighter than the 75W 5000K LEDs I have. Also, I only paid about 8.00 for the 75W LEDs as opposed to 17.00 for these. But after looking around, these seem to be reasonably priced gimble LEDs.So taking all that into consideration, the product works as designed and I would probably buy them again. Value wise, if you can do without the gimble feature, a less expensive choice would be fine.

Such short wires to connect to
These are great lights. They are super bright equivalent to a 200w incandescent. You will need a dimmer. They dim way low and my customer loved them. The only thing i hated about these were that inside of the junction box, the wires you need to connect to are literally 2 inches. It is so difficult to wire, and annoying that they could have left them a little longer. When you are retrofitting a light you have to get up in the hole and make the connection, these are really hard because of the short wires.

nice and bright but don't last. great customer service ill give them that.
update 9-29-17 seller offered to exchange all (22) of these with another brand they sell. lights were a little less lumens but with the different type diffuse on the led can tell a difference. seller stands behind what they sell and made it right though customer satifaction.update 8-25-17. 2 more went out today this is 4 in 1 month. they are junk i don't know what else to say. customer service has been top notch but the product is crap.moved up to 3 stars customer service sent me a non generic message and offered to swap all the lights out to the new design but only offered in 3k & 5k so having to stick with the old 4k design due to its 4k all through the house.lights are nice and bright. consistent in color temp. had 3 defective out of 20. customer service is great shot them a message and they sent me a replacement. update its been 10 months and have replaced 6 of these. Getting to be a pain due to the fact i have to use a 10 foot ladder to reach them. not sure why just get the same generic customer response email. These don't last already had 2 go out in 1 week of each other.

I was pretty impressed. Installation was fairly quick and straightforward
I wanted to change out a few of my aging halogen downlights in my home office and decided to try these out. I went with these LED downlights to see how they would compare, and for the price, I was pretty impressed. Installation was fairly quick and straightforward, I was worried I would have to call someone, but after looking at the instructions and giving it a try, they fit right in. They are quite bright and produce less heat than what I had before. I also switched out to an LED compatible dimmer, so I can lower the the brightness when I’m just relaxing or enjoying a movie. Overall, I’m quite happy with the purchase, might even consider slowly changing out the rest of the lights in my house.

Yea for LED retrofits
Been using these retrofit to replace lights that burn out in the can lights in my house. Once installed you can forget about it. Only negative is that the “outriggers” used to hold the main light in place inside the existing can does not always work and the retrofit falls out. I have had to generally keep bending the metal outriggers to a point that they will jam into the can and hold the retrofit in plsce

It depends on the application
I bought three of these and used them on two different jobs. The first was in a kitchen with a sloped ceiling where I used 2 of them, the other was in front of a fireplaceIn the kitchen they worked great. It was a shallow pitched ceiling, and I aimed them straight down. The beam angle was very wide, like 120 degrees or so, and filled a small kitchen with great light. In front of the fireplace, however, I wasn't near as pleased. The tilt angle isn't very far, so I had a hard time pointing it right at the wall. And the beam angle is so wide that it really didn't matter that it tilts. What I mean is that the tilt is supposed to make it directional, to point the light in one direction. But it goes out in all directions really wide.Overall I'm happy with it. But as an eyeball trim to accent a mantle or some art work, it's not a narrow enough beam angle

Poorly made?
I just installed the light and it caused my arc-fault breaker to pop. When I was examining the problem, the light actually gave me a little shock or more like a buzz. Maybe a just got a bad one, but at this point I no longer trust the product.

Bad physical design.
The clips on these lights are very short and stubby, it does not create a good/tight seal to the flat ceiling I bought these for. When I called the manufacturer they told me to put a "trim piece" around it.. Yeah good luck finding a trim piece, we had to make our own. The light(s) are bright and work well with an expensive dimmer switch. However VERY disappointing they won't fit right into our brand new 4" cans.
