Nailtek Extend Professional Polish Thinner, 0.5 Fluid Ounce

I never knew that one wasn't supposed to use polish remover to thin old nail polish until I read it in an article about the beauty things I was doing wrong. Gee - that's why it never worked well. I had always thought it was because the polish was old and nothing could save it. So I bought this - in the smallest possible container available. I saw offers for containers of up to a quart of thinner, which is hopefully more than I'd need in a lifetime! I'm sure that nail salons are glad for that option, though. I had a polish had thickened significantly and was no longer usable, although it wasn't to the point where it was solid. I figured that would be the perfect trial for this thinner. I opened the package and found a nail-polish sized bottle and a separate dropper with a screw-on cap that fits the bottle of thinner.I thre away the normal cap for the thinner, although on second thought, that probably wasn't the smartest thing to do - the dropper bottle isn't nearly as solid as the cap in preventing evaporation! Back to the thinner - it worked perfectly. Two droppersful were enough to make the old nail polish as thin and smooth as new polish, and it took no real time at all. I'm sure that I'll be purchasing a larger bottle next time!

I have struggled all my life to have nice nails, but over the past few years my nails have gotten so bad it was not just aesthetics but a medical problem. The nails had become so soft and peeling that they would dent and bleed with any use. Even crafting activities would injury the nails. I have many medical issues, one being diabetes. Wounds heal slowly and may lead to more serious problems. A friend who used to carry NailTek in her saloon recommended this product, and I found it online. After using NailTek 2 Plus for 4 days I noticed my nails were harder and the edges were no longer splitting. After 12 days I had length to the nails I had not had for many years. After several weeks the nails now reach the end of my fingers and the "dented" areas have almost grown out. The left hand is better than the right; I use my right hand a lot. This treatment is pricey but a little goes a long way. It thickens quickly but Nailtek makes Extend and this keeps the product usable. I recommend purchasing this when you order any NailTek product.

This thinner definitely works. But I should have paid more attention to the size of the bottle. This is the same 15ml size of a nail polish bottle. There are other brands of thinner that come in a 2oz bottle for just a couple of dollars more. I will definitely get the bigger bottle next time. Not that this is a bad product, just a bad value.

I’ve had this for about a year now and the bottle does evaporate. I’ve opened the bottle more than 10 times over to year and one way to make sure your solution does not evaporate is to tighten it with the lid not dropper. Make sure the lid is very tight and you can put it in the fridge to make sure it doesn’t evaporate. I had mine in room temperature and tilted and nothing evaporated. Solution also works great to thin out nail polish.

Tossed, didn’t work

Get this one not the others. I’ve tried them all. This one has a nice eye dropper and thins the nail polish to perfection.

The product works great, just a few drops and it restores the oldest and crustiest of nail polishes. Problem is that the remaining liquid evaporates so quickly you'll be lucky to get one or two uses out of it unless you use it on multiple bottles at a time. Unfortunately I only got to use this bottle just once, for that I could've just replaced the polish with a new bottle. By the following week, it was gone. Completely evaporated even though tightly capped and stored away in a dark cabinet. I have bought this product in-store a couple of times before (since it's the only brand they seem to have at CVS and Walgreen's), and the same thing had happened but since I had waited a long time to use it again after the initial use of the first two bottles, I didn't realize til this purchase that it evaporates so quickly. I'm going to try another brand to see if I have better luck.

Polish thinner worked as described and I was co able to use colors I thought would never be usable again. Thanks

This product is like ✨𝓶𝓪𝓰𝓲𝓬✨. It turned one of my oldest nail polishes back to it's original form. It really is worth its price and only takes ~2 drops to fix a nail polish (depending on how old it is).

A me piace tantissimo perché diluisci lo smalto quando diventa troppo denso, non è la prima volta che l'uso e a me mi hanno sempre piaciuto il prodotto della Nail TeK . C'è voluto un po' per arrivare ma comunque sono stata sfatta.

I had a couple of nail polishes that were getting thicker in consistency and really hard to use, but with this thinner was very easy to bring back a new consistency and make the polish easier to apply. Really liked it.

the brush broke so everything dried up :-(

Worked perfectly. Made my polish like new.
