MOHAVY 100% Cotton Fashion Dessert Arab Keffiyeh Tactical Military Shemagh Scarf

This keffiyeh is great, and is actually the correct size. I have had problems finding a company who sells in the US that makes authentic keffiyehs. This company is exactly what I was looking for. The keffiyeh is 47" and works perfectly for me (I can actually wrap it correctly). Many keffiyehs (or shemaghs) that you can find in the US are knock-offs that are way to small to be worn as they are traditionally. If you are looking for an authentic keffiyeh that can be easily purchased in the west, this is definitely the company you should buy from.

My shemagh was ordered as a tester for my Dabke troupe, it came sooner than the estimated delivery, the quality is wonderful, it looks light but it is very well made and extremely warm. Getting ready to order 4 more, I absolutely love it and when my troupe saw mine they also felt they would wear it on a regular basis. Thank you for a great product at an affordable price. I bought this scarf and am quite disappointed. I own several real Herbawi scarves, and they are heavy weight cotton, substantial threadcount used, and woven from thread about the weight of crochet thread. This Mohavy scarf is almost gauzy so not a big threadcount used. The white thread used throughout for the base of the scarf is very lightweight, and the thread for the blue areas is about the weight of sewing thread. There were several stray end threads that when lightly pulled made a substantial pull throughout the scarf, which luckily I was able to smooth back out. I've never had this happen on a real Herbawi. Although this scarf has a "Made in Palestine" label sewn into it, it is exactly the quality of a cheap Indian-made knock-off I was fooled into buying some years ago. Stay away from Mohavi. Buy only real Herbawi.

I own a couple of Shemaghs from different companies and although they are awesome, this one is my favorite. Its well made, light and REALLY big. A buddy refers to it as my "tablecloth," but she'd steal it if she had a chance.

Perfect. Light weight and soft. Does not get hot in sun like a dark color.

It looked even better than the picture and it came right on time. I will definitely purchase more!

True to size and great quality. Will really help keep the dirt out of my face.

I liked the blue one so much, I bought another in red. Will rotate them as they get full of dust and sweat out in the Gobi.
