Perfect fit! Plastic is as strong as that of the original fob. Metal was also pure quality. However BMW emblem is gradually rubbing off after 2-3wks of usage. I think it’s the paint that was used. It’s not terrible, but if you’re OCD, it may be a minor bother. A solid 4.5 for me!

Great product, all I can say is that it's on a great price and quality it's just great I've purchased this item 3 times, one back in early 2022 for my son's car, all great, then in July 2022 for my wife's car and then in Jan 2023 for me. I must say that the quality in the last one I got is sadly not the same the logo is printed in an awful color totally disappointed ☹️ on this last purchase.

This key fob is just what I needed. It took me literally less than 5 minutes to switch from my old one to this one. The only little issue is that when I put my original key blade in this key fob it goes in good but pulling it out you have to press and pull the blade really hard not like the one it came with or the original key, but this is totally fine I don’t use the blade at all and if I need it I will just pull hard and take it out. It’s s amazing!!

Standard name brand battery does not sit firmly in the case. The battery will lose contact with the terminals and fail to function. I put a rubber washer on top of the battery and it works…most of the time. Dang, same issue as the one I replaced. The old one finally cracked because I opened it so many times to service this issue. 2013 f30 bought used and came with two of these fobs. I’ve owned the vehicle 2.5 years now. I’ve learned how to deal with it, but I cannot recommend because of this issue. You will eventually get locked out or stranded or whatever. Purchase at your own risk. Good luck!

Lo mas dificl es abrir la llave original para sacarle la placa controladora y colocarla en el nuevo control. La llave origibal viene sellada y para abrirla debes cortar con cuchillo cartonero al borde cuidando de no dañar la placa. Tu llave original, quedará destruida. No hay vuelta atrás. Por los demas , facil y funciona perfecto.

Perfect replacement. My original C1B key was fairly difficult to take apart, be careful when doing so. But after that, it took all of 5 seconds to move over internals into the new key. 5 star.
