Cane Creek is ridiculously excellent on literally everything!
Let’s be honest. Cane Creek is on an entirely different and higher level than everyone else.As with everything they make, even this is a work of art. Oddly, despite thinking I couldn’t possibly discern a difference between the standard piece, I most certainly can!!Cane Creek is next level.

Works great
This works great to adjust the bounce of the thudbuster for the appropriate weight. Make sure you get one that matches your weight.

Way too stiff
I think the weight guidelines are meant for a cruiser type of bike where all of your weight is on the seat and if you’re towards the heavier end of the spectrum. If you have any kind of forward stance and carry some of your weight on the handlebars, you’re much better off using a lower weight range elastomer despite what their guidelines say.

Essential over 200 lb
If you have the Thud Buster LT.... And weigh over 200 lb... This elastomer insert is a must. I thought it might be too stiff.. on the contrary it offers me a much nicer ride. Great seatpost.. just make sure you have the right elastomer insert

Does the job. Should be included with the thud-buster as an option.
Aside from being a cheap move on the part of crane creek, it's also such a waste. How much extra packaging and shipping does this create? Not to mention the number of unused stock elastomers sitting in people's garages.Just let people pick their elastomer firmness when buying the thudbuster.

Useless not on the bike.
Cannot figure out how to put this in.
