This duct seal is perfect for sealing your unsealed ducts
For those who might not know, this is basically a pound of waterproof sticky clay-like stuff that is used to create a weather seal around open ends of conduit and the like. It's exactly what it says it is, and works well.I have a gutter downspout that empties into a 4 inch drain pipe. It frequently gets clogged by needles and debris from my fir trees. This stuff let me create a seal between my square downspout to the round cast iron drain pipe. I used the leftovers to plug up some small holes in my furnace ductwork. It's not very malleable when cold, so warm it up first by rolling it between your hands first until you get enough to form around whatever you're trying to seal, then pack it in.The product info says it's "non-conducting, non-deteriorating, non-toxic, non-corrosive, non-staining, non-curable." So it won't harden up or stain. Also, it's non-toxic, but it's sticky and has an odor to it, and the residue doesn't wash off so well. I'd suggest using a pair of nitrile gloves when handling it.

Does the job as expected
Worked just as expected. After checking on it after 20 days elapsed, I found that the putty becomes rubberized and is no longer malleable (which is a good thing). 5/5

Very handy, ideal for my project.
Able to mold whichever way I want, prevents water leak and insects crawling into the wall.
