this single pump is powering my 180 gal. reef tank…and is sufficient for this use. The different options on the control module allow for a diverse array of settings……I think for the price its a good buy.

Ok , I have had these just about a year now and can say these are great little pumps, ,,,, I ordered 4 of these to put in two different tanks a 120 and a 210, can say you only need one in the 120, set on med and the els mode last setting on the left button, now the 210 can handle full blast long pulse and can create a wave about three inch high but a slow roller, love it as the soft corals move as they do in the ocean, with a gentle sway with a swirl to it, will order two more for the 210 to remove the closed loop system I have running, as an experiment I shut off the closed loop and my chiller never came on, so you know what I'm going to order very soon. The only complaint I have is I wish we could control all 4 to the same program in sequence , but over all a very good alternative to the more expensive brand (WP40 )......
