It's 110 volt setting works great in the USA. Butmost of the world uses 220 volts and that would fry this curler without a voltage adapter. No it does not have one on the plug built in.

What size curling iron should I get

Sunflower has the right advice, my only comment is IF your hair is short use the 3/4 inch for tight curls and the 1 inch for softer curls. Also if you leave the curling iron in your hair up to 30 seconds you will get a longer lasting curl but use a heat protector product on your hair.

Babyliss nano pro curl iron so disappointing

The handle is really hot, i was really disappointed for the handle of babyliss nano pro. Now i cannot back again even change coz its only until sept 28. I just use it trice but still the same. It's getting hot more and more.
