Perfect!
With giant Mammoth sunflowers you need a large bag and these fit the bill perfectly. No more loss to birds deciding the seeds are theirs. Easy to use, drawstring is easy to slide and tie. Material seems pretty robust for a tight mesh. Value for the money.

Very useful bags!
These bags are a lifesaver! They keep the bugs and birds off my fruit and veggies! Easy to put on the fruit and tie off to the stem or trellis. Quality and durability and great! And there are multiple sized bags to fit different fruit.

Good to prevent birds from getting to your fruit.
I had a pair of birds eating my figs. I used these covers in order to prevent them from taking a bite of all my fruits. It worked well and now the birds do not come back.Pros:It is relatively cheap. It prevents birds from eating my figs.Cons:The string on the bags tend to fray when you tie and untie them. The cinching on the cord will leave gaps at the stem if that matter to you.Can come undone, depending on what kind of knot you use.Reusability can be a problem because of the fraying of the red/orange strings.

Bye Bye Bugs! No Pesticides!
Finally! A pesticide-free solution that saved our vegetable garden!!!Frustrated with a beautiful vegetable garden slowly being destroyed by insects, we purchased these bags. I placed the bags over each budding Japanese eggplant, cabbage and broccoli and then cinched the drawstring close against the stem. WOW! No more lacy, bug-eaten leaves! The bags allowed sunlight and water in and kept the pesky insects out, allowing my vegetable to grow and thrive instead of looking like leafy-green lace.I purchased these bags in various sizes, depending on the size of the vegetables I intended to cover. Highly recommended and pesticide free! Hooray for this genius solution! A+++

Doesn't stand a chance against squirrels
We were hoping these would protect our mangoes from hungry squirrels, but unfortunately they are able to chew through them. These bags certainly look nicer than the strawberry clamshell containers we were using last year, but aren't nearly as effective.

Securing is Key
I read most of the reviews before buying these. I have spent the last few days putting them on a loquat and an orange tree, a few each day. I made some observations. It is easier to cut the knotted string and after pulling tight around the stem under the fruit, tie it tightly with a bow for easy removal, just like you would tie your shoes. Make a double bow if you like. If you knot it, it will be difficult to get off without cutting. Do not place over buds or flowers, as it will prevent pollination from bees that cannot get in. Place only after fruit is set or at some point after. If the bag is a bit small, snip off a couple of the biggest leaves around the fruit to make some room. I have checked my bags each day as the wind has blown very hard during that time. The bags are secure. The squirrels have been yelling at me from the fence, but I pretend I don't hear them. I am determined to get some loquats this year if it kills me. I think when there is uncovered fruit they can have, they will be less motivated to get the ones in the bags, so share a bit if you can. I saw a video of one woman who was frustrated that the squirrel took the fruit and bag altogether and ran off with it. But it was a neighborhood of trimmed lawns and houses, and the fruit was probably the only fruit to eat within a square mile. I have a backup, though, and that is some nylon screen. If the bags don't protect it, I will start making my own screen bags. The battle is on!🤺🤺

Keeping bugs out
Still too early to cover anything here in Illinois, but looks like they will fit over my containers with my brassicas and maybe I won’t get so many cabbage moths this year!

They are really stiff. The pull tie is plastic so it’s hard to get them to stay tied.
I might order a size up if I order again. They are really stiff and inflexible but get the job done! Be careful for crawlers that might come up or down into the bag from stems. The sinch is hard to get and keep snug due to the stiffness of the fabric.
