Inserts are available in sizes from 2 inch diameter to 4 1/2 inch diameter in 2 or 3 disk configuration. The size is based on the outside (OD) diameter of the pipe the Inserts are to fit into. Each application will be different. Some race applications have proven satisfactory with only a single disk insert. The use of CC Inserts allows the user to custom tailor the unit for his specific application. Car Chemistry, Inc. cannot guarantee that any specific application will meet the sound requirements of all municipalities or other governmental agencies. The wide variety of engine configurations and exhaust system designs preclude guaranteeing that all systems using CCInserts will be street legal.

Easy to install, great sound
Just installed these on my 996 Porsche, replacing a set of 2 baffle versions. This new design is easy to install and gives a great sound for daily driving. The 2 baffle version allowed a bit too much noise for my taste (was difficult to hear a cell phone call on the highway). Have not measured the Db levels, but a nice increase over stock and half as much as 2 baffle versions. Note: I used welded on pre-sized inserts on both sets. Did not customize sound diameters that were provided in kit.

Perfect for my cat turbo
Put this in an after market exhaust for my arctic cat turbo sled. All I can say is the thing worked, drone gone, power still present, much quieter, love it.

Complete waste of money
Complete waste of money. Not only did it not quiet exhaust down, but it noticeably reduced power. I took it off after 2 days. Wish I could get my money back :(
