3DI25R CC Inserts-Insert 3 Disk Mufflers Fits 2.5 in. Dia. Pipe CC Inserts-Insert 3 Disk Mufflers

The Cold start of the new exhaust on my 2012 Acura tsx vibrating the windows on the house. Installed the exhaust insert before the resonator did the job now I can hear the radio going down the highway.

I swapped a Nissan 3.5L v6 into my 2004 Xterra and put 2.5” piping with a dual inlet/outlet Borla muffler and the drone at highway speeds was very apparent. After installing 2 of these before the muffler with the supplied open inlet restrictor the drone was pretty much gone! No noticeable loss in power (maybe a little bit of picked up lower end torque in fact). Very pleased with this product!

This actually works, but it works even better when wrapped in exhaust heat wrap.

I have spent way too much money on my 6.0 Chevy powered 1964 C10 exhaust. First it was way too loud. Then I dropped $700 for a super quiet system but it was way to quiet and restrictive. Now it's close but still really "cracks" when I cold start. I installed these will steel wood - it did get the DBs down but was choking the motor too much and it didn't sound good. I am now just running the baffles and it's back to to too loud and I don't think it "barbles" as well as it does with nothing in the pipe. I'm back to finding a tip or a glass pack to smooth out my sound and quiet it down on start up. I guess that was a $100 plus dollar experiment that did not work out.

While I am very happy with the product as I have used them before I was a bit annoyed as when I bought these for another vehicle years ago they came as a pair. This time it came as a single piece. If you are running dual headers like I am on a car you need to buy 2 of these.Otherwise they are awesome.

This did quiet down my exhaust, it's adds a little rasp but noticeably quieter

I bought 2 of these for 2.5" pipe, it says that the fit 2.5" pipe but they don't. Now I'm stuck with this garbage.
