Very good, but expensive for what you get!

The chocolates all had a white film on them. This was a gift and I was there when they opened the gift. The taste was excellent, but presentation was horrible.

Creamy and velvet like texture, remernecant of sliding into silky sheets after a hot day. Also pretty box to keep treasures in after eating. Win win.

CARIANS Chocolatier Assorted Gourmet Chocolate Gift Box was a horrible experience, I would not recommend anyone buy this item. Some of the individual candy was discolored and tasted old even though the expiration date was 2026. This candy left a bad taste in the mouth.

The taste is creamy and smooth. Tastes like real chocolates not waxy. Nice assortment of flavors.

When I tasted the chocolates, I was impressed about the flavor; however, there was a deep bitter taste that I picked up on my hand that passed onto the chocolate. After a careful inspection, I came to realized that the nice box that comes with it, the bitter taste comes from touching the black paint on the box. I would think is is toxic since it permeated very easily onto the skin. I would recommend not to touch the outside black box pain while grabbing a chocolate. The chocolate maker should check their box vendor if they want to succeed with their product. Box is well made but the bottom black paint permeates to the skin.
