I LOVE this tape, it fits my eco-friendly business needs, except the BIODEGRADABLE tape comes wrapped in a big NON biodegradable bag taped shut with NON biodegradable tape! Wth - come on people! Get your packaging for an eco-friendly product up to par!

I bought this tape because the description says the tape is biodegradable, although I haven't personally tested this claim. As someone who ships a lot of packages, biodegradable packaging is important to me. This tape only gets 4 stars due to two reasons. One, the tape is extremely expensive. I can buy 8 rolls of regular packing tape that is more durable than this for about $22. I am willing to pay more for an earth friendly product, but the price is going to deter some people from buying it and that means no incentive for them to make the switch which is bad news for landfills. Two, this tape is not as durable when packing up bigger and heavier boxes, and I find myself using about 3 times more tape to get the job done. Please make this tape more comparable in price to it's competitors and we could save the environment even more.

I was moving to a new place and although I was able to salvage moving boxes from my building’s recycling, I felt guilty thinking about the amount of tape I would use in the moving process. I tried this out despite the price difference...I’d much rather pay more for a product that is more environmentally friendly.It works! That’s all I can say since it’s tape...boxes stayed closed, none broke, end I felt a little less bad going through two rolls in the process of my move.I also used it to mail out some items and the tape went onto shipping labels completely clear, so it’s also good for everyday use.

Sad to see it wrapped in plastic but understandable because it is STICKY! This tape is everything I wanted and needed for my eco focused brand. This cello tape made my 100% compostable packing a reality! 10/10

This is really a great product that was just the perfect addition to my supply stash of Earth friendly packing materials. There is no offensive scent to this tape, and it starts to break down a little as soon as you fully immerse it in water. Yet it is both strong and sticky, and gives me no concerns even with the heaviest of packages. A note however- if you are using this as a project tape instead of for shorter term uses such as shipping, it does have a tendency to stiffen up a bit and discolor somewhat over time.

I love that this is biodegradable *and* clear. It's super sticky and comparable to the regular plastic kind, but I feel better about using it. For regular packing of boxes, I use a super sticky paper tape that I love, but if I need it to be clear, this is perfect!I can laminate things this way, too!The only complaint is the plastic packaging used to package the biodegradable product; I imagine if it needs to be packaged, something else, like biodegradable plastic or waxed paper or something would be as useful but in keeping with the environmentally friendly ethic of the product itself.

got 3 rolls of 2" wide tape. first roll worked like a charm. i use it to secure cardboard boxes for recycling so it lasts a long time. just finished first roll and reached for the second. not usable. it is like a sealed glob. kinda like it melted into a solid mass. so i went on to roll #3...same thing. since i bought 5 months ago, cannot return. see no way to contact the company so i will just dump the 2 unusable rolls and continue on with my life.

Good tape. Though funnily (or sadly) packed into A LOT of conventional plastic wrap.
