After reading the countless reviews on the extremely poor quality of the cards, I decided to check out the ‘Used’ editions, on AmazonI found one listed in ‘Very Good’ condition, that stated all of the cards were included and intactI bought that one, instead of a new one, knowing the cards would be of the previous quality, the older editions embodiedIt actually arrived in ‘New’ condition-pristine all around-probably never even been used, as the binding was still tight on the book and felt like I had opened it for the first time!The cards aren’t as substantial as most of my tarot decks, but definitely not flimsy paper, as virtually all reviewers are complaining about with the ‘New’ editions; however they are stiff cardboard cards and will shuffle well with no worry of damage or wearThe cards are the main attraction, so I don’t understand why they would be so cheapened down, to the point of being just about useless !!Shame on the publishers !!If you wanted to save a buck-you should have cheapened down the packaging!!The slot that the book and cards go into would be a great starting point!!The packaging is thick cardboard and the book is sturdy as wellThis doesn’t make sense to me!Most-if not all of us-would GLADLY pay more money for decent, sturdy cards!!The cards that came with mine are definitely cardboard, and are perfectly acceptable and will not wear out; however, my favorite decks always are of thicker, sturdier material and often the edges are gilded, which is very coolPUT THE LOVE INTO THE CARDS!!The cards are the ESSENCE of this product!!At any rate-I bypassed the chintzy paper cards by buying ‘Used’Mine is a 1992 edition and I am very pleased that I outsmarted the greed, and purchased a decent printing of this deck of cards

I found these cards to be quite accurate in the few readings I have done. I suggest reading the hardcover book prior to use as it details the cards system and highlights traditions associated with this style of Divination cards. Highly recommend for anyone's collection.

This lovely set is a breath of fresh air. The artwork is beautiful, the premise is easily followed, and it's spot on accurate.I was from unwrapping to reading within minutes.Whether or not you study the tarot or any other divination system, these cards provide an approach that is suitable and non threatening by nature for almost anyone. It seems perfect for those who prefer a daily reading as well as for any niggling issue that needs guidance without seeming overly complicated. The esoteric is tempered with the practical. Not to say it's all happiness and light by any means, perhaps a bit less harshness and gloom involved in the pictures themselves. It seems to remind us that "life happens" for some of the more negative aspects in a way that only a trusted confidant or elder could say best. They can deter or warn with an unpredjudiced love, and we find that our problems are not new nor permanent.This set comes complete with a hardcover book that gives full details on how to use, meanings for cards and their placements, and sample readings. I would recommend it as an only fortune card deck as well as a new addition for your other oracle sets.

This is the best set I have ever had . A good friend got them for me . So I got a set for my man . He loves them too . I would definitely get them .

I have this set and had it for over 10 years but couldnt find them. I dont read obsessively I tried that when I started reading and it was not healthy; I stopped.When I have a confusion that I'd like insight on I use these and a deck that I've drawn myself. when I couldn't find these I bought another deck. there is a lore about that but I'm not getting into that right nowi've been reading for a long time. these are the best cards for seeing into personal life - if you've not drawn your own.Clue of my imbibing techniques.My issue was about my transportation ( i was considering 2 good vehicles)- after unifying with the cards to make them talk to me in a way I'd understand - then in simply shuffling the the horse fell from the deck within 3 seconds a person walked by and said get the cheapest. I said pardon and he said it's something my father always said. for what I was looking at it was sound advice.I love these cards - although they are mass produced - if you know to unlock the static - they get chatty real fast and have not lied to me yet.

This is my new best favourite divination deck. And it's Canadian!I purchased this after my sister-in-law gave me the cards. She'd lost the book along the way, and didn't feel drawn to the cards herself. I immediately fell in love with the pictures, and the accents, even not knowing how to use them. I tried finding information online, and eventually had to purchase the book and a 2nd set of cards. SO HAPPY I DID!They arrived on Family Day, appropriate, as these cards are great as a social event. The book is very informative on the history of this style of card reading, and personal story of how the cards came to the family of the woman who published these. A very old tradition, and I'm thrilled to carry it on in a new country.Once I learned to do the readings properly, including the correct shuffling method, the readings became much more accurate. This is not a deck to use for one-card draws, or to do alternate reading styles with. When used in the way recommended in the book, they are correct so far in every communication, and encourage the quirent to find a positive solution and perspective, even when telling of difficult situations. Truly a light in a dark time, or confirmation of good things. I also really appreciate the timeframe attached to each image, to give depth to the meaning. I look forward to using it for many years to come!

J avais déjà un autre jeu de ce style mais avec des cartes plus petites. Les cartes sont fines mais je les mélange à plat sur la table donc pas de risque de les abîmer. Les réponses son toujours précises. Jeu facile à utiliser. Livraison rapide

se mi chiedessero di abbandonare tutte le cose materiali che possiedo tranne una io senza ombra di dubbio salverei queste carte. sono la cosa più incredibile che possiedo. le consulto spessissimo, mi hanno aiutata in tanti momenti difficili, anche quando sembra non dicano niente di azzeccato in realtà ci beccano e danno spunti interessanti di riflessione. sono davvero un tesoro da usare con rispetto. mi sento fortunata ad averle trovate e le custodisco gelosamente.ah tra le tante cose mi hanno anche predetto un terremoto che dopo poco s'è verificato. non potevi crederci. alcuni diranno coincidenza? io non credo. queste carte sono potenti. veramente.

Me encantó la presentación, trae un libro súper completo, no el típico librito feo de la mayoría de los oráculos que a veces ni se usa, este definitivamente vale la pena. Las cartas son súper bonitas, lo único es que si son un poco delgadas, tal vez las tenga que enmicar más adelante, pero sí lo recomiendo y vale lo que pagas.
