These are great fixtures. Very easy to install. I installed it on a decorative post near the driveway. It remains lit all night and turns off by sun-rise. Amount of light is plenty for its purpose to keep the driveway way lit enough, but no light pollution.Only one thing the manufacturer could have done better is to provide option of warm white light (2700 to 3000 lumens) or at least sell the warm white bulbs to replace. These lights are right now only in bright white light. Not a big deal for me but some people ( including my kids) just don’t like bright white lights.

When the light first comes on it's very bright. (On top of the mail box intended to make it more visible to motorists on the narrow road). Snap to install. Longevity is a 4 because I have only had it up for a couple of weeks. Brightness is a 4 because it doesn't last until dawn. That could be because of the large trees that shade it for part of the afternoon which keeps it from getting a full charge. I have had all the neighbors remark that it is really bright and they are thinking about installing one on their mailboxes. Caution: You need to turn the switch (red button) "on" initially so the light will charge. It comes in the "off" position so 1 push will turn it "on". Two will turn it "off" again. I mention that because there is no way to know which position it's in unless you count the number of times you push the switch.Checked a few days later after 2 days of clouds and rain and the unit was burning bright at 7 am DST. Have to upgrade brightness from 4 to a 5.

Very nice light! I’ve looked all over & found this one @ a inexpensive price. I recommend it if you can handle this type of product due to requiring some minor modifications to install. It died after about 5 months of operation. Tried contacting email on paperwork that came with light got reply asking for POP which I provided several weeks or more ago and no reply! The lights is not a good one discharges in less than 4 hrs with full day of sunlight. Returning it as seller has not answered me. Amazon is dealing with my concerns now. Don’t buy not worth the money

The size is so nice . They’re very clear and bright . They work great.Kind of bummed one of my lights is not working now . When I press the red button on the side the bulb just flashes and won’t stay on . Hopefully this company is good and sends be the battery .

I bought 2 of these lamps for my gate posts which have no electrical access. They were a nice size and easy to install. The mounts have 2 holes for screws to hold it down to the top of the column. As earlier reviews have stated, the mounts are made of thin metal, so I would recommend using a washer to prevent the screw head from pulling thru the mount. I was happy with the amount of light they produce and they were a welcome addition to my gate posts. Unfortunately, after 2 weeks one of them stopped working. I contacted the company and they immediately responded with some trouble shooting information. None of their ideas worked however. I informed the company of this fact and they responded by sending me a new top which contains the batteries, bulb and solar panels. I replaced the old top with the new and it works perfectly. The troubles I had caused me to downgrade the lamps to a 4, but I would give their customer service an A plus for response time and willingness to help.

We thought we were simply replacing a pair of these lights when Hurricane Irma ripped them from our gate columns here in Anguilla, BWI. (The previous model from this company had a sort of panel of LEDs that glowed from the top). The filament bulb in these lights is stunning. The batteries are also amazing, as they have been going strong to 4:30 am. We had a brief panic the first night, as our contractor forgot to turn on the switches. Perhaps that allowed them a full, strong charge the next day - as they have been brilliant ever since. As a note: The last ones were up for 3-4 years, and the lights still glow after the glass being smashed by the hurricane (we nestled them in some potted plants for accents). I hope these last as long without being tested by a Cat5+ any time soon!

This lamp, plus a pole (covered by a tall plastic-box post) I purchased separately, very nicely replaced a non-functioning, electric, old coach lamp. The base is not intended to be attached to a pole or post, but they drilled it in and it works fine. Quite bright, but does not cast as much light on the driveway as a normal light. However, it works without an electrical hook up, which is very convenient.

Great light, it's easy to install and looks great. It provided a huge amount of light... Until it just stopped after two years. All of our stuff says to contact the company, but that has this far proved impossible.

We put it on a post for the front of the house. It gives off a lot of light so happy with the product.
