Outstanding for the Money
Updated review.I bought my projector to use outdoors for movie night in the summer. I intended to use it with my iPad since I have the iTunes, Netflix, Amazon, and Hulu apps.Quality: It's very light weight plastic, you sometimes have to press a button twice to get it to respond, and the lens cap is kind of funky. You have to retract the lens using the focus knob so that it is completely recessed before you can snap the lens cap in place. If you don't, you'll end up scratching the lens because of how convex it is and how much it protrudes. Bottom line, don't drop this because I'm sure it would break.Performance: I'm not sure about the other reviews saying the fan is loud. Mine is certainly not as loud as a box fan as once review said. The fan on mine is very quiet. With audio playing, you wouldn't hear it. Likewise, mine doesn't get hot (it's an LED bulb). The picture quality is quite good for such an inexpensive unit. Keep in mind that with any consumer-grade projector, you're not going to replicate the resolution of your TV. But for a super low-cost projector, this will work just fine as long as you stay within the recommended distance (see the specs on Amazon, as there is nothing in the instructions). For me, I found the ideal distance to be no more than about 5-6 feet from the screen. Beyond that, on screen text starts getting blurry. You would have a hard time reading captions if the projector were more than about 6 feet from the screen. As for brightness, it's decent, and as long as you're not using this in the blinding sun and you stay within the recommended distance, it's just fine, but a darker environment is definitely better. The farther you move away from your screen, the more the light scatters (and resolution and brightness will suffer). I used my projector outdoors to project the video onto a hanging sheet. Once it was dark outside, this worked well. It's not as bright as a TV, but no projector is.Connections: The instructions and description say you can use the USB input with a smart phone or tablet, but you cannot. I have tried an iPhone and an iPad, and the device does not display anything from the tablet or smart phone. Other reviewers have said the same thing about Android devices. I have tried both USB ports and neither works with a smart phone or tablet, even when verifying the input is set to USB. I think this is a limitation of the iPhone and iPad rather than the projector. I have an iPad HDMI adapter, and that works great. I used my iPad to stream movies from Amazon Prime. One important note about this setup: some streaming services, like Netflix, block use of an HDMI adapter cable with a tablet I did not try to display photos or video clips from. You'll get a warning on the tablet saying streaming using an HDMI cable is not supported. Again, though, Amazon Prime works great. I have not tried iTunes, Hulu, or YouTube yet. a USB drive, but other reviewers have said that works. I did try using my Amazon Kindle Fire TV with an HDMI cable, and that works well.Audio: The loudness of the speaker in the projector is quite limited. Use an external powered speaker like a set of inexpensive PC speakers to amplify the sound. I did that when using the projector outdoors and it worked great. One important note, though.Bottom line, for $69, this is hard to beat. The picture quality is adequate for how I want to use it, and it will work fine with a Roku, AppleTV, Kindle Fire TV, Chromecast, etc. so as long as you have decent wifi signal strength where you want to use this, it would be fine.

Cheap and cheerful!
Box was severely crushed in one corner but the foam inside kept the projector safe. I knew I was buying a relatively low-resolution (800x468) unit and so for the price, am very happy. Brightness is useable in a dimly lit room, though the darker the better. The sound is something I thought I'd never use, but it's loud enough to be actually practical for 8-bit video game sounds (emulators of old systems) and clear enough for spoken presentation. Anything beyond that and it's pretty much a given you'll be using external speakers. Fully feature packed and everything works as it should. Honestly, this unit represents excellent value. Thanks!

I can't say how much I absolutely love this projector
I can't say how much I absolutely love this projector! It far exceeded my expectations. I have been watching the Olympics on it and can't wait for it to get dark at night to keep using it. That is my only complaint is you basically need a pitch black room to get the most out of it but thats no different than any movie theater. I bought the 120in Projecto Screen by Vapex Screens and it looks fabulous, which I also highly recommend buying. You can use it at 100in and it still looks great but at 80in is where you get your best picture and it looks really crisp.

Great Projector considering the Price
Pretty awesome little projector for the price. We've watched two movies (Roku HD and Blueray player) since we got it and we're pleased with the picture. The built-in speakers are terrible, but honestly I think most projectors with speakers are terrible. Love that it has an HDMI input. We haven't used any other inputs. If you're looking for a movie projector on a budget, this might be for you.

Problem resolved.
*This review has been edited due to information addressed below*I bought this projector back in May 2016. It worked really well for 2 months and then stopped working. It would not turn on. I assumed that the bulb had went out. As it was semi-difficult to contact the Lefun team and resolve the issue, but I was eventually able to have my projector replaced with a new one free of charge. I now do not have any problems with the projector. The picture is very good considering how cheap and tiny it is. I think that the focusing mechanisms on it is a great feature. Option to focus and tilt for a clearer picture. I'm giving this 5 stars for the projector itself only.

Great projector for its price
I did not have a TV at home and was looking for a projector as an alternative. This projector does the job well.Pros:It is able to project images of 40-50" size comfortably. I have used it in both dark and bright room with light coming in from at least 2 sides. I have connected it to Chromecast and it works very well with it.Cons:Projectors in this price range cannot be used to project small text as in Word documents. If you need to watch a movie stretching on the entire wall, you probably need native Full HD resolution.

This worked out better than I thought I was focused on using my blu-ray player with it but when I noticed the USB drive on it that was just what I needed .. I don't have to put my home movies on a disc to just to watch then .. I can transfer them to my USB flash drive and play then from there .. perfect for me .

Very economical!
This projector is excellent for its price tag but I must warn anybody that the slightest light with drown the image. 1000 lumens is very weak so make sure you use it in the night. I took a start for that :D P.S. the max resolution is 720p @ 60Hz which is not bad at all
