Decent product--not perfect, but good enough for the price
I paid $7.88 for the white shaker (cheapest one available at the time). The first shake I made was very smooth and turned out much better than my old spoon and stir method. The second shake I made, there were a ton of lumps. I don't know what changed, but something wasn't breaking up the chunks. Maybe operator error. I made a third shake, which was pretty smooth as well. It bears noting that this is not battery operated.First impressions are: it works reasonably well, but it barely takes 2 cups of milk plus 4 ounces of protein powder and a small .5 oz scoop of glucosamine. The shaking action slows down as foam is created from the milk, which acts as a buffer against the mixing. I did get a few leaks while making my second shake, but I'm assuming it was from sloppy pouring into the container (I got milk all over the threads). I rinsed the cup completely between shakes. So for the price, I'm pretty happy. I'd probably be a little less happy if I had to pay full price. I have no experience in the shaker cup world beyond this model. I'm just trying to get more active and find ways to make it easier for me to take my protein. I've found that separating my powders beforehand into those small plastic containers people use for Jello shots (available at any Smart & Final) is the way to go. Makes my entire week so much easier, and they're reusable if you're careful. And the storage cup on the bottom of the Cyclone Cup will just barely fit two of those 2 oz. containers with lids on, so I can keep my storage compartment on the cup clean. Less hassle for me.Bottom line: this cup is decent. It works for my purposes.

Very impressed and works as well as they say it does!
Bottom line, this bottle works great! It is sturdy, high quality, and anyone with a basic understanding of physics will know why this bottle works so well. And it doesn't leak! You can't find that with a Jaxx or Blender Bottle. I have never made a protein shake so smooth, and it only takes about 20 seconds of shaking (of course this depends on the amount and powder you use).I ran into a couple problems that other buyers had like not being able to unscrew the lid or difficulty with popping the cap open. When I first got the bottle, the lid was extremely tight. I sat there for a good minute applying as much force as I could, trying to get it open. After I did finally get it open (and yes one-star reviewers, it is possible), there were no problems with the lid. The cap is somewhat difficult to pop open, but it also seals really well and doesn't leak. I can't complain there. It does get easier as you get used to it and break in the bottle. And yes one-star reviewers, I just opened it with one finger. The bottle only measures up to 16 oz, but the whole bottle is likely about 21 oz. Some reviewers complained about not having enough space in the cup for both 16 oz of water and their powder without it overflowing while putting the lid on. A simple solution to this is putting water in the cup, then your powder, screw the lid on, and add water through the drinking hole. There is easily a good 4 - 5 oz of room in the lid itself for extra water. My complaint, and it isn't really a complaint, is that I wish the powder cup on the bottom of the bottle was just an extension of the bottle. However, it does come in handy and I've learned to appreciate it.Buy it and love it!

Cyclone Cup Shaker
I use this cup daily for mixing a protein shake after working out. The cyclone attachment at top works well as a mixer and blends powdered protein mix smoothly into water. This piece can also be removed for ease of cleaning (it's very simple item to clean). This a build that I find preferable to the mixing ball used in other bottles. Note that the bottom also screws off and can be used to store additional contents. Using the main cup and storage, it's convenient having a two day supply on hand. The cup is sturdy and has a good, comfortable weight. It did leak once when shaking, so I keep my thumb over the lid when mixing (which I probably should have done in the first place). I feel comfortable transporting dry contents in the cup, though would not transport liquid contents. I recently purchased a second bottle to keep in rotation and found the experience to be the same.In short, I would recommend this product if only transporting powder and mixing on site.

Leaks easily
Pros:- Mixes well, but not significantly better than any regular blender ball cup- Additional storage in the bottom section (4oz.), if you need it... (see Cons)- Aesthetically appealing. The white color looks really nice.- Rubber grips on the lid to help you have a tight grip when you need to open it- You can easily separate the parts to clean itCons:- Not enough volume (only 16oz. volume inside the actual cup)- Leaks sometimes even if you think the lid is completely closed tightly (not quite sure how it happens, but it happened quite a few times)- Prone to smell if you don't immediately wash it- The bottom section is wasted space with limited usageFor me, I would have been better off with a regular blender-ball protein shaker cup. I use GNC's Wheybolic 60 protein, which requires 3 scoops in about 12 oz. of water. This cup barely fits the protein powder and I have to do it with a couple ounces less of water. The bottom container really isn't all that useful unless you like to stash a small handful of nuts or something and want to carry around this cup. Bottom line, if you're using a protein powder that only requires 1 scoop and if you actually need the storage on the bottom, then this is a good cup for you.***Edit***Had to take off another star, this cup just started leaking consistently after a few months of use. I try to make sure the lid is secured tightly but as soon as I shake it, all the liquid starts leaking out where the grooves for the lid are.
