Yet another quick review, this geeky Tiki, Star Trek: TOS Captain Kirk, ceramic mug, 16 ounces was a huge hit at Christmas for a Star Trek fan. Given to a father-in-law, who is a one mug same mug every day for years has now out his standard coffee mug for this item. Brought a huge smile to his face and seem to be a very quality crafted product. Period especially enjoyable was the two-tone design that they implement on most of their mugs. Unlike some mugs that are similar to this we have yet to see any cracking of the paint job itself and seems to be holding up just fine. This shop sells mini license products from many of your favorite beloved movies. Movies, including Star Trek, Star Wars, Harry Potter, and many many more I myself am looking forward to collecting the Star Wars, and look forward to others. They come out within the future. My wife on the other hand is looking forward to the possibilities of receiving one as a gift from the Harry Potter line.So, in conclusion, I would highly recommend these to anyone that enjoys a hotter, cold beverage from a stylish hip cool, drinking vessel. These are awesome mugs, what I like to call "Hidden Geek". At first glance, it just looks like your average tiki mug. Even looking closely, the average person probably wouldn't even notice. But to the true Star Trek fan, The Mugato is a classic Star Trek alien! The mug is high quality, and the inside is painted a matching thematic color. High gloss throughout the whole mug. Just don't throw it in the dishwasher or it will break; hand wash only. There are less subtle characters too, check out the whole line!

Great design, but could be thicker. It's too hot when trying to use for coffee. Washable in the dishwasher. The inside is not cylindrical, so you may have to scrub the indents to get particles out.
