I am giving these filters a five-star rating because they actually do what they are supposed to - Filter out pet allergens and odor. There are two cats that live in this house, and they have very smelly urine. The ammonia was overwhelming me and I bought a Levoit air purifier to see if it would help. Well, it did help but I could still smell the urine even after running the purifier for hours with the OEM stock filter. I decided to do some research and see if there were other filters out there. I ran across these and decided to try them because they are made specifically for pet allergens and odor. Not only do they work better than the OEM filter, but they are half the price - I got two of these for the price of one of the OEM stock filters. Hands down, if you have a Levoit Core 300 purifier and have pets, these are the filters to get - you won't be disappointed.

Great filter replacements for an amazing air purifier. When replacing the filters you really realize how much dander and dust is being sucked up by the device.

Pretty good for filtering cigarette smoke. As an experiment, I used a Levoit regular filter & I definitely noticed a difference!I use 2 Levoit air purifiers in a space where only one would be needed normally. Along with these smoke filters, they work quite well running full speed 24/7 to clean up the air from my chain smoking. I blow my smoke straight at one of the purifiers to help it catch my smoke better. The filter definitely gets dirtier quicker than my other purifier.

Another edit: If you get the warning light to change the filter really early, did you wait until the last filters light went off? The 300 models of filters don't use a censor, it's just a timer, I just learned that. And I was waiting for the last filters light to come on, and I was surprised it hadn't.Early edit: These filters do seem to help with tobacco smoke. My neighbor smokes in the bathroom at night most of all. If I put the purifier in the bathroom in the morning, the smell dissipates better than if I just leave the door open, which never really fully helped. I'd get a better reading if I had two purifiers though, because I bring it in my bedroom at night, but they smoke indoors mostly at night, and the smoke is usually in my living room, and bathroom. The filters do seem to help though.Tl;dr I bought the smoke filter specifically for cigarette smoke from a neighbor, no one mentions this in reviews, so I will :) . I'll update soon to let you know how my lungs feels, and what my place smells like. Quick edit right after installing: I walked into my bedroom and the air feels crisper. Maybe it's in my head, but I don't think so...My original levoit filter didn't filter the smoker at my last residence. Although, people in the reviews recent tp when I bought it said the filters weren't the same, or hepa. Idk about that since it was my first Air purifier ever.My new dwelling has a pesky cigarette smoker and my bedroom reeks, my whole place does. I've recently woken up with burning lungs from sleeping in a smoke filled room. I expected my old filer light to turn on a month ago, so some of that feeling could have been allergies, but I know not all of it was. The morning the smoke was really bad my lungs were burning, just like when I used to smoke in my place and fall asleep. I'll update soon about smell, and how my lungs feel.

These filters with my air purifiers are crazy. I didn’t know how much dust, pollen, etc I was breathing in, in my own home. These are so nice and honestly my lungs thank me. They last roughly 3 months and they’re so easy to replace in the air purifier! I recommend!
