All the pieces are good, and its very calming to play with.

Pros:Plenty of sandAccessories are well made and look beautiful.Comes with enough accessories to be creative but still plenty of space for raking- a cluttered garden is the opposite of zen for me.Box is sturdySand is very fine, rakes nicely and looks beautiful when it settles.Cons:I would've liked the pen rake for smaller lines, since the box is not very large.This set is customizable, I added my own black flat stacking stones and will consider buying more pebbles or a pond from a craft store. I think it makes a great gift.

The media could not be loaded.  The last few weeks have been quite busy for me and after getting this and it was the best decision to purchase this. It gives you a lot of benefits from not just being able to silently do something but also meditate and induce a lot of creativity. With the simple materials, you get to picture yourself in an actual place of zen and imagine walking in those white sand. The sensory experience of being able to touch the white sand and play around with rocks were more than relaxing. I have always had quite the struggle quieting my mind.. I would sit through savasana at the end of class wondering why in the world we were sitting in quiet to calm down, when that was when my mind was the most active! Monk and Llama have surely changed my ability to find this ‘quieting of the mind’. I can sit with my Zen garden for literally hours.. It is now where I find my most inspiration, my most creative thoughts and where I come to find peace and presence. Omg - This product was absolutely amazing. I’ve always dreamed of owning a zen garden and this was everything I could have ever wanted and more. As someone who practices meditation daily, mindfulness, stillness and balance is something that is so important to my everyday and this helps me to feel that throughout my day and just take some quiet time to myself, which is so important nowadays. All of the items are super high quality and good material - I especially love the trees because they are so soft and life-like! Overall, I would give this product and this brand 100 stars if I could. I love this Zen garden kit! I am always looking for peaceful ways to calm my mind, and this has been a huge help! It is very soothing to use and has been lovely to change up to my meditation practice.In addition to it's practical use, it also looks so beautiful in my home!! It is great quality and has already caught the eye of visitors. I feel at ease just by looking at it on my coffee table- having it out reminds me to use it regularly! I'm loving the Monk & Llama brand, and everything they represent.

I bought this as a gift for my daughter. She likes it, the wood is good quality, the little fence is nice, along with the little bridge. The reason for the 3 stars, the sand bottle wasn't full so we didn't have enough sand to cover the bottom of the tray. I had to buy more sand. Also the trees are lacking and fall apart very easy.Otherwise, I like the quality of the bamboo and the fact my daughter loves it. I would recommend it but make sure to buy sand too. We added other items which made zen happen, haha. Nice Garden
