I use 1/8" elastic for masks and these cord locks work great and are comfortable
I already had knots in some mask elastic and was able to pull the knot into the cord lock so it looks better. These adjust very easily. Not sure why they came with a bobby pin, it doesn't work so I used a fishing line to loop into the elastic and pull through. I fine wire could be used (like in a bread tie), or thin needle and strong thread for pulling through.

Use a blunt tip yarn or darning needle and thread
These packages (both white and black) arrived promptly will do the job of tightening mask ear loops just fine as long as you don't try to use the "bobby pin" provided to thread the loops through the bead. The bobby pin is too large and it stretches the rubber bead and reduces its holding power. A nice stiff wire threader might work, but the darning needle works also. Thread a darning needle with heavy duty thread; run the (blunt) needle through the small hole of the bead leaving a tail; loop thread through the ear loop; run needle back through bead then pull the ear loop through the bead using the thread. Okay to wrap thread a few time around a pencil or something to save your skin as you pull the loop through the bead.

3 stars for smell
I have purchased better (and worse) elsewhere. First, I really don't like the strong rubber smell- like a skunky burnt rubber smell. Made my fingers smell from handling them. Hopefully the smell will improve if I "air" them out, because I'll be putting these on masks not made for me. The tool it came with is not the best but I have my own tools from previous kits. Lastly the construction is ok, for the price it is a good value. I have purchased worse, the only thing that could be improved is the smell!

As described ear loop toggles. Good value, as described.
These silicon toggles are handy to tighten all those loose ear loops on my masks. Thankfully they are more flexible than they appear, and when using the supplied 'tool' (err, bobby pin) they stretch without splitting. There are no instructions, but I figured it out without trouble. The price is fair for this type of item and would buy again if the need arises.

They work great!
I came upon these late in the game, and I wish I had had them sooner. I put them on the 1/4" facemask elastic so that the user can adjust as needed, and it's a game changer. Not only does it allow the user to make the mask tighter or looser, but it relieves the back of the ear since the elastic is not directly rubbing it all day. I've used 3-4 orders so far. Ultimately, since masks are back, I'll be ordering more.

love it
These take the guess work of how much elastic you need because everyone is slightly different. They are soft and comfortable. The elastic is 8 inches long, folded in half and they all have a little silicon "dot" that helps with the adjustment. You might need to have masks that are about 8.5-9 inches wide otherwise you won't have enough give on the loops for adjustments.

They work!
They go on a little tight on cloth ear loop masks but work on them too AND they even send you the tool to help get them on the mask........a bobby pin! If your bobby pin ever bends or breaks you'll know what to replace it with. The smooth silicone doesn't irritate behind the ear and the cord lock doesn't slip on cloth loop masks - at all.

Worth the price
These were just what I was looking for to make my masks fit better. They were pretty easy to use and are comfortable. I haven’t had them on long enough to say how durable they are but they appear to be well worth the price paid.
