GoMacro Organic Gluten-Free Protein Bars, 12 flavors Assorted variety 12 pack in Sanisco Packaging.

If you're ordering this, chances are that you've had gomacro bars before, and now you want to explore more of their 15 or so available flavors. While you do get an assortment, you may not receive the 12 flavors that are listed in the description. I received a couple different flavors and one repeat. Not a big deal, but a little annoying when you want to specifically try a particular flavor without committing to a whole box, only for the flavor to be omitted and substituted with something else. First World problems I suppose, but just something you should be aware of if you are expecting any particular flavor. According to other reviews, you should order direct from gomacro if you want to be certain of the variety that you will receive.

The “variety pack” was not what was displayed in the picture. There were duplicates of odd flavors and did not include the more popular flavors. We did not have this problem when we ordered directly from Go Macro. I ordered from Amazon because of the quicker delivery timeframe. I will only order directly from Go Macro in the future. The bars are good, just very disappointed in Amazon’s delivery of a product not as they advertised.

I have IBS. These bars are so good for my digestion issues and taste delicious.

I could get over the weird taste and texture if it were a healthy treat. But after further research, a seemingly healthy ingredient - brown rice syrup - added loads of sugar. Now I know to avoid that ingredient when looking for a snack with less sugar.

While the product GoMacro bar itself is good, I was disappointed with the way this was advertised and what was sent to me. The writeup says 12 pack variety so one would expect at least 8-10 flavors. I got about 4-5. Even in that 4-5 more than half was variations of peanut butter ! So if you looking to buy this like me, to try multiple flavors, save yourself the trouble. Chances are you will get PB chocolate, PB chocolate chip, PB and PB oatmeal and maybe 2-3 berry flavors.

I have bad IBS and was also recently diagnosed with SIBO, and so was placed on a temporary restrictive diet to help. For assistance with nutritional and protein supplementation, my functional medicine nutritionist suggested trying GoMacro bars. For the most part, the flavors I have tried so far have been very good (almost tastes like eating a dessert) and I am happy to integrate these into my diet. The only minor issue I have, and the reason for my 4 star rating, is that the 12 Bar variety pack did not include each individual flavor shown and instead I received doubles of some of the bars. However, I am thinking that back ordering and stock issues may have had something to do with it.

In general this brand of bars taste amazing. I was looking to try all the new flavors listed but what came is a pack with 2 each of 5 flavors and 1 of 2 flavors so total of 7 flavors not 12. Unfortunately 2 bars of mocha which is a flavor I do not like.I will definitely buy this brand again but likely not this assortment

I ordered 12 and received six bars. That’s a lot of money wasted when half the expected quantity was received and they are ineligible for return/refund…
