walking my dog is like trying to walk part Hell Hound part freight train. 4 years of trying different leads & behaviourists to zero results. When I became a single dog mum, walking her is what scared me the most because my ex was the only one who could cope. Within weeks I had cried in public & seen a chiropractor. So I started to walk my two dogs separately so they didn’t bounce off each other .. it was OK but she was still bad. The other week I put her winter coat on her for a walk as she’s a skinny thing & it was cold. I noticed she didn’t pull. Weird. Tried it again... still no pulling. WHAT. So tonight I tried a proper thunder jacket (because she can’t wear a winter coat in the summer or I’ll be reported to the RSPCA) and IT WORKED. For the first time in 4 years, I can walk my dog properly without being dragged down the street. Would recommend trying, cheap as chips so why not!!

Our puppies behaviourist recommended a thunder shirt for our over excitable anxious pup. We have trouble handling him in everyway. Getting the lead on proved to be a 2 man job until we put on this jacket. He loves it as seems to be much happier to be touched whilst it's on. I managed to measure his tummy circumference roughly as he was trying to bight me throughout and ordered the medium which fits and has some growing room. The fabric is soft and also acts as a coat although is not waterproof. We will find it useful for training, trips to the vets and any situation that would make a dog anxious or over excitable. It definitely calms our pup.

I bought this for my rescue dog. He never had a very good start to life, which has left him with PTS, anything & everything is scarey to him. I wasn't sure this would help him, well how wrong was I??? He goes out for his walks with this on & it really seems to calm him down & his anxiety isn't as bad. The Thunder Jacket is nice & stretchy & delivery was early. I'd recommend trying this Thunder Jacket, if your dog is scared of noises, or gets anxiety, it's helped my darling boy. Thank you.

Bought because fireworks cause great distress to my Spaniel. He was still upset by them this year but no where near as much as in previous years. I also use this jacket in the car when traveling as he gets really anxious and licks the seats and windows, this has really helped to keep him him more relaxed. The jacket material is soft and doesn't make any noise, it has a good stretch in it so can be tightened as you see fit for your dog's needs.

I bought this for my golden retriever who is terrified of fireworks and for the first year running he managed to settle down in the evenings and was only mildly disturbed by them compared to previous years of being absolutely petrified.I would recommend this jacket for your dog if they suffer anxiety or stress due to many reasons not just fireworks

Arrived before Christmas and fit the dog fine. Be careful with measurements, though. Thought my dog was a medium but I measured her and I bought a large to fit her. It's not a cure for stress but she seems a bit better wearing it and every little helps when she's trembling at every firework or thunder cloud.

I first ordered with small size for my JRT but it was far too big and got in the way of seeing! So 8 ordered the xs which is far too small and doesn't go round him! Both wasted.
