Design House 204784 Drive-in Ball Catch, Satin Nickel, 1-Pack

Product is as advertised. Replaced one that was over 10 years old. Perfect fit. Easy to adjust. Took less than 10 minutes to replace. I would definitely recommend it.

With easy slight adjustment, this was the perfect replacement for the closet door closer that sprung apart. Had to remove inner housing of old closer (easy with screw driver and pliers). Works great!

Replacing my broken one was so easy. I just pried out the old one with a thin screwdriver . I left the outer shell in the door. I just replaced the inner shell and it was super fast. Then I adjusted the ball to keep the door closed.

These fit well. Easy to install. Work just fine. The only negative is that the spring in them doesn't supply a lot of tension. They do the job, but the hold on the door is fairly light. Some people might want the spring to be a bit slacker and this is what they're going for. I like a good firm hold so the door doesn't accidentally pop open unless intended.

Just moved into a new apartment and the pantry has doors with ball catches. HIGHLY rusted ball catches I might add. You actually had to lean back to make pulling them open somewhat smooth. See attached images for before and after results.Maintenance was not very helpful and apparently they just don't replace these units. I did some quick research with my Amazon Fu and found this awesome product from Design House. It was very easy to install and now the doors are super smooth.ProTip: Make to have a rubber mallet to allow easy installation into an existing hole.

The builder ball catch closures in my house have all started falling apart after 9 years. These are a great drop in replacement. No install required. Works perfect.

I replaced the old one which was becoming "stuck" and difficult to open and close without using a lot of force. I just popped out the old one and put in the new one within seconds. No tools required. However, if you're installing it the first time, all you need to do is drill a hole, push in the casing and put the ball catch in there. Then line up the plate and screw it in place. The hard part probably is getting everything perfect aligned, but it's not THAT hard to do. Great price and great quality - operates super smoothly.
