Medline Accu-Therm Hot and Cold Gel Pack, Reusable, 5" x 10" (Pack of 16)

These are handy little hot / cold packs that are useful to keep on hand for minor sprains, headaches, or sore muscles.We use them so often that I stitched some little envelope-style holders out of a thin toweling material in the shape of little pillowcases to put them inside of; the toweling is helpful when they've been kept in the freezer to maintain a little bit of insulation when you're placing them directly on the skin. They do get cold when they're stored in the freezer! It's good to have enough on hand so that you can rotate them if needed.They are wonderful for migraines; just put one at the back of the head, and the other on the forehead. They are also helpful for use post-knee surgery; cold therapy is helpful for relieving pain and swelling.We have used these packs in our family almost daily for several months, and we haven't encountered any problems with leaking or package breaking. I imagine if you were to use them for both hot and cold therapy that their life would be reduced somewhat, especially if you accidentally overheat one in the microwave, but when you use certain ones exclusively for cold therapy, as we do, they last an extremely long time. I do highly recommend them. In fact, I've given a few away to friends who've visited and complained of aches or pains. I will be ordering more in the future!

The best ice packs I have ever used. I use ice packs every day for pain these are by far the best ones. The price is so reasonable. So glad I purchased them.

My neighbor brought 4 over after checking up on me after my knee replacement surgery. Because these are pliable, and the 5 x 10 size perfect, I could repeatedly ice all sides of my knee at once using 4. And believe me, you ice and elevate a lot after this surgery. I liked these packs so much, I bought this box of 16 to share the way my neighbor did with me.

I have been buying these for my wife, who fell down a flight of stairs more than a decade ago and frequently needs either hot or cold to relieve the pain.They hold up very well, but because we love them, we wind up giving them to friends who have the same kinds of aches and pains we experience in our golden years.I know, you're saying, "What will I do with 16 of these?"You too will wind up giving lots of them away to others in need.

Works well as hot or cold, just the right size for the back of my neck.

Love that these things freeze "soft" and are moldable to an injured area. I bought them because I recently had some major dental work and needed to keep my face iced down. Love that there were enough in this box to rotate in the freezer, keeping them cold while the one I was using warmed up. I highly recommend for injuries that require icing down. I also purchased a "sleeve" belt to go with these so I can tie it off and not have to constantly hold it to my face. I've purchased these, one at a time, in the past, and have been so impressed with the quality that I finally decided to just go ahead and purchase this large bunch.

These heat up in the microwave well and even when they are frozen, they remain flexible.

These are great, they dont get rock hard. I use these all the time for my migraines and back pain. Recommend these!
