Works…. But not for games where speed is needed, like online games, or where lag could be an issue. Which is about 95% of the games I play. There is a delay no matter how many times I sync the controller. Also, when holding down a button, any button, it just stops working like every 5 seconds. In one of my games, you have to hold down the LB button and when prompted by the game, quickly press X or any other button. But 70% of the time, it would crap out on me when pressing multiple buttons or just not work at all, and shut off even though it’s fully charged. The lag will kill you on competitive games. And it’s useless with games like Mortal Combat where multiple button combinations are happening every second. Worked fine with Plant Zombies, and basic streaming services.

After unpackaging the controller and fully charging it, I could connect it to the PS4 and the controls would work for less than a minute before the controller completely went unresponsive. It was still powered on and technically connected, but not a single button on the controller would work.Build quality feels fine but I'd stick to the official controllers. This turned out to be a complete waste of money as it doesn't even work long enough to leave the main menu of a game.

While Sony cannot produce any new controllers at the moment due to chip's being scarce, I sought out a 3rd party controller. This was my 2nd brand with the same issue. The analog sticks are glitchy and cannot be used for FPS games. Either the analog sticks wanna "stick" and not move, or they "over shoot" and you do a complete 180. Either way, you get murdered in FPS with these controllers. Save your self the time and money and either get a refurbished Sony or if you can find a new one from Sony. I have tried a total of 5 different 3rd party controllers and they all have the same crappy analog sticks.

You get what you pay for with this one I'm afraid. After only a short period of inactivity, the controller disconnects. If you have a wired headset, it creates constant static and noise. The analogs are really sensitive as well. But it works pretty okay for solo game play when you get past the inconveniences.

I REPEAT DON’T BUYY LOOK ELSEWHERE MY CONTROLLER WAS NOT ACTING RIGHT SUCH AS I HAD TO KEEP RESETTING THE THING AND REACHED OUT FOR THE LIFETIME WARRANTY THAT CAME WITH IT AND THEY SEND U TO A FACEBOOK PAGE THAT HAVE OTHERS SAYING THERE CONTROLLER ARE NOT WORKING THEN THEY TELL ME CONTACT AMAZON SO THEY ARE NOT WORTH THE HEADACHE SERIOUSLY LOOK ELSEWHERE

The battery life is great and the analog sticks work smoothly.My only qualm, and it's a big one, is that the audio jack doesn't work. I can't use my headset or use the party chat while I'm gaming!I'm very upset about that last part because I game with friends a lot these days during the pandemic, which renders the controller basically useless to me.EDIT: A few days later the bluetooth and right analog stick stopped working unfortunately

Stopped working within a month. Returned it and got a replacement from the same vendor and the replacement stopped working after 4 months and cannot be returned . Bought 2 others from another vendor at Christmas and those continue to work fine.

I had issues with Sony's Dualshock 4 controller and I didn't want to spend $60 on a new one. Went to give this controller a shot and I must say that I am impressed with the quality. I've been using it everyday for 2 weeks and it's holding out pretty well. Battery is good and hasn't given me any problems at all. The purple is a nice look and I enjoy using this controller even in my heavy gaming sessions. The seller also reached out to make sure the controller is performing well and to reach out if I'm having issues.
