Simple pattern
This is a very simple pattern. I could have used some more from the pattern. My first attempt didn't really turn out so great. I'll have to experiment with other materials. I really could have used a diagram on exactly how to place the tie tack in the puff tie, how the tie is folded for wearing. Also the pattern asks you to 'accordion fold' the centre of the main piece of fabric.... The wording makes me think of a 'W' shape, the diagram shows a 'V' shape. I would also like some specifics in the pattern about the attachment of the neck band to the loop and the loop to the long part of the tie... I just made it up as I went along and did tacks for it. BOTTOM LINE: I was able to sew a puff tie using this pattern.

Cravat pattern fits all
I was a little disappointed.I wanted a pattern that I could modify to fit me but that I had to tie myself.This pattern requires that you get other hardware (separately) so you can clip-on the completed tie like a rented bow-tie.I wound up creating my own pattern but I couldn't have done it without this pattern.
