Our 4 year old son really enjoys this toy. He has had it for a month now and it has held up. It has been dropped off the table and thrown against the wall--still works fine. It's a large size with good plastic and thick metal axles. Perfect for indoor or outdoor use.

My nearly 3 year old son loves this! Big enough to play in the rocks or sand and I love that it doesn’t have light or sound. Just a great, hearty toy!

I bought this for a little 3 year old boy. It was a perfect size and nicely made. It worked great in the sandbox. He loved it.

Pretty happy with this excavator. I wanted a metal one but the best deal I could find was over twice as expensive. It’s not as heavy duty as our CAT Steel dump truck or our steel tonka truck BUT this is also quite a bit less expensive. Keep in mind that Tonka is NOT what it used to be and our tonka loader is not super impressive either.See photo for size comparisons to some other toys you may have or may be looking at.Our toys get PLAYED with pretty hard by my 2 and 4 year old so it will get put to the test. Grandson loved it.

Both of my kids loved playing with this in the sand. It’s very sturdy and easy to use. The only con is not being able to control the scoop but they just did it manually and seemed unbothered.

My wife and I purchased this toy for our Grandson’s third birthday. He was getting a sandbox from his Mom & Dad and this seemed perfect to play in a sandbox with. Of all the gifts he received at his party this was the one he carried right outside to immediately play with!! Excellent quality and he loves it!

Our three year loves playing in the dirt and sand with this. The price was great and it looks great. It holds up as well.
