Zoo Med Betta Bling Mermaid with Hoop Black 2 x 1 x 1 inches

Cute addition to my betta tank and sturdy materials used. Adheres firmly to side of the tank with the attached suction cups.

This is a cute added feature to my Beta tank.Well made.

For my fish tank

The media could not be loaded.  The mermaid is cute and the suction cups start out clear but within 2 days they cloud up. So I took them off and broke the tail I broke her tail and had to glue it together using gel superglue that I bought on Amazon. Then I attached her to the block decorations with fishing line. I hooked the line to a suction cup on the outside of my tank so that way I can move it if needed.Caution: I did file the rough edges off using a cardboard nail file so it wouldn’t tear the fins.

After a while gets slimmy. WON'T stick. Yes I washed it over & over. Paint bad. Hurt my Bata. Very sharp

Be super careful to check this for sharp points and edges that will tear your Betta’s fins - mine came with two razor sharp areas (I’m pointing to them in the photos attached) that would certainly tear up any fins that snag on them. I think you could file these points down but for $10 you shouldn’t have to do their quality control and product salvage.The paint job also has a bunch of sloppy edges. Overall it’s cute, unique, and my little girl will love this in her new Betta tank, so I’m going to return and try again.

Item is durable and beautiful at the same time. My Betta fish approves!

Very cool looking. They must have fixed the makeup problem because I bought four of them and they’re fine. My very large crown betta fits through the hoop.

unfortunately the paint work on the mermaid is very poor, mine arrived with her painted lipstick smeared all over her face, ive put her at the very back of the tank so i don't have to look at her face!
