I'm what you might call an Arlo Cam power user. I have 3 cameras indoors and another 2 outdoors. I love the Arlo cam security system - but always felt that the cameras were fairly obvious and instantly spotted. This black box clock allows users to turn their Arlo Cams into hidden cameras.you can insert the Arlo cam from the top of the product and then put a lid back on it. the package includes a cable to power the clock and an AC adapter.pros:- hides the Arlo Ca well- day and night vision work well when the camera is in the box- the black box looks nicecons:- when the camera switches to night vision mode and the room is dark you can see the red IR lights if you pay close attention. if you are a little away from the box and/or dont pay attention it is still hard to noticeI will update the review, if anything changes.

Quite useless. First, as a covert device it is useless. When the camera is on, the red lights on the camera all light up, and you can see it through the box. So people will know it is not merely a clock. Secondly, the motion detection won't work well because essentially the camera is behind a glass when the IR motion detection lights get reflected back at the camera, rendering the motion detection non detecting.

It hid the canera ok but motion detection dose not worki put it aside for maybe future use

While the video is decent, it is dark shooting through the box. Love the design but need to figure out how to get the video I better color / clarity.

This doesn’t hide the red glow from the cameras as expected. Too complicated for time setting, looks too shady.

Sleek design and the camera is undetectable

Don't waste your money. Glass is way too dark and motion detection will Not work at all. You also need to turn off night vision or your video will be black and white. The color video looks horrible through the dark glass. Good idea but bad design.
