This is a great grill for camping
Perfect grill for camping. Easy to set up. Folds nicely for storage. Large enough to set up kettle and cooking pot, but doesn’t take up too much room. Really great option to have if you’re unsure whether or not a campsite has a grill of its own. It was easy to dust off and clean before taking home. It worked perfect for my needs. It will definitely get many uses over the years

Large, durable, and steady
Lots of room to do some cooking on. Strong enough to hold my griddle and a dutch oven and it also held an 8qt pot and 6qt Dutch oven full of chili with no problem!

Used for Camping Trailer Cooking
Overall, this is a decent grill as long as you know what you're getting. It's good for over a small campfire or, as I do, a charcoal fire in a heavy-duty aluminum pie tin. I'm not concerned about the weight because I'm not carrying it to a campsite; I keep it in my trailer and pull it out when I need it. It would be way too heavy for any kind of long-distance hiking trip, but I could see taking it on a short hike. Its ideal use would be for car/trailer/rv camping. Most recently, I used it to cook chicken wings (12 full wings: drum and flat attached), and it was a tight fit, but it worked to get a good sear on them then finished in a Dutch oven (cooking wings completely on a grill is always a hassle because of the inconsistent sizes). The surface area is basically the size of 4-6 burgers. I haven't cooked steaks, but I could see it fitting 2 good-size ribeyes/NY strips or one really big T-bone. I've found that getting a few 9x13" disposable aluminum cake pans and using them as the container to get your charcoal hot, then knocking down the coals and putting the grill over the top works best at giving a consistent heat. Now that I'm writing this, I'm wondering if a 12x16 pan would fit underneath. My main concern is the paint that it's coated with for some reason. It melts off during use. I hope it's non-toxic; I'll update my review if I develop some weird cancer. Cancer notwithstanding, it's a pretty decent grill for the price as long as you don't expect it to do things it's not designed to do.

Great for my purpose
Bought to set my solo stove campfire on top of to get the heat a little higher to me and not be on the ground all the time. It folds flat and fits in my wood container for traveling and is just big enough to hold my little solo stove when I want to lift it off the ground.

Super sturdy
I was pleasantly surprised on how big the medium size was. Very well built and very happy with the purchase.

This is the best camping purchase I've made! No more gas grills!
In an effort to lighten our gear load for canoe camping, I decided last minute to go full gaucho and cook everything over the fire. I am not going back to gas. EVER! This is so much better. It's compact, more eco, grilled meats taste better, and with a little planning ahead you'll never miss your bulky, heavy Coleman grill. We always have a fire going while camping anyway so this just made sense. Coffee pot right on the grate, followed by a pan full of bacon and eggs. Burgers and steak later with fire roasted jalapeño, omg amazing! Easy cleanup, no greasy fat traps or stinky grill parts, no running out of propane halfway, I really can't find a complaint. This is how it was done for centuries and it really makes sense that this is the best way. Just let the fire burn down to coals and you'll not regret it. 5 stars all the way!

Size matters
I like it for the most part, but I was actually hoping it would larger. I could only do 1 good size Chechen or 2-3 little game hen's at once, maybea rabbit or squirrel might fit. I wanted to be able to roast a small pig, but it's just not big enough i don't know why it's called a camping grill and spit. It's only made for those people who only go camping in their backyard not for big game eaters like me. I set it to the highest level and barely could get an ok stack of firewood underneath the grill, had to dig a little hole underneath first, it did the trick.

Major manufacturing floor
It’s a shame to have to give it a 1 star as apart from this clear manufacturing problem it seem like a good piece of kit. We would have returned it but it’s a huge hassle and we are off on a 2 week camping trip next week so no time to return and get a new one.

Compact for travel.
I bought this to pack in our kayak to go camping. The size is great as it fits in the hold in my kayak. Worked exactly as it should.
