New 2.0 PET Collar Attachment Turtle

I bought these for my small dogs as soon as our new pool was filled with water and I am so relieved that I did. Both of my small dogs have accidentally slipped into our new pool when playing and this system went off alerting me right away. I put the receiver in my kitchen window facing the pool and it works great covers the entire pool. It’s very loud.We have tried to teach her dogs how to get out of the pool but they panic and and swim to the nearest ledge where they keep struggling to get out at that spot and don’t try another spot. They would surely drown if they fell in and we didn’t know.I have two very small dogs so the turtle is a little bit big attached to their collars but it does not bother the dogs and it’s worth it to keep them safe.

The safety turtle does just what it is supposed to. We keep the turtle on our little dog's collar. He is old, deaf, and blind and wanders near the pool frequently. He walked right into the pool one time and the alarm sounded. We were quickly able to get him out before disaster struck.

I bought this alarm system because one of my dogs tragically drowned in our pool so I wanted to prevent our other dogs from falling in as well. They alarms work great and are sensitive to any drop of liquid however about a month after I purchased them, one of the collar attachments keeps randomly setting off the alarm even when no liquid is detected. I had to un plug the system at times which totally defeats the purpose of having it. I would give it five stars if it wasn't for this problem. The other two collar attachments work fine.

We have been using the older version of this for years and I can say that if not for this my pets would have drowned. Because of this we were able to rescue our pets that had fallen into the pond or pool several times, saving their life. This newer version doesn't seem to have as many false alarms and dries quickly to prevent the alarm from continuing to sound once the pet has been rescued. Works for small children as well but we haven't used on kids.

The alarm doesn't reliably sound when my dog goes in the water. Sometimes the alarm doesn't go off until she is out of the pool. DO NOT RELY ON THIS PRODUCT AS A LIFE SAVING ALERT.

These work great but are very sensitive. My dog licking it has set it off. My dogs are all small (under 10 pds) and we have a large inground pool, these work great for keeping them safe. We put on on my mothers blind senior dog when they came to visit and twice it saved him after he walked right off the edge into the pool. Thanks to the alarm we were able to quickly jump in and get him.

I love the turtle when it works. I'm now on my second and both died after 1 year. The second was still under warranty and the company agreed to send one right away. However, after dogging them for 10 days they finally shipped it. If I had another choice I would go a different direction.

I love it. We have very few false alarms and I feel confident my senior pets are safe if I forget to bring them in.
