Easy to put together & looks beautiful! Bought to keep our little dog away from the tree & it worked. Will never have a tree skirt again. Love this!

I like the concept of having the cut outs with the lights in the background. However, this metal is too thin for cut outs. You have to reshape all three pieces when they arrive, because they are bent all over the place. I am sure overtime pieces will break off. The ports that you insert the screws in are not aligned properly, therefore, you have big gaps at the top or bottom of the seam.NOW FOR THE LIGHTS. Each section has its own set of lights. You have to reach inside to turn each set on and off. I hope these batteries last for a really long time. I will not be turning mine off, and will replace them with electric lights when they burn out. That way, I can control them with my tree lights.For the price I expected better.

I bought this for next Christmas but my husband got it out of the box to see what it looked like. He put it together pretty easily. It was sooo pretty!! A little pricy but I believe that it was worth it!! I can’t wait for Christmas!! 🎄🥰

I love the idea and the overall look of this Christmas tree collar. First problem was putting it together. Of the three screws that hold the sections in place, the threading on one piece was badly stripped, so that the screw could not be seated properly. My husband cut the screw to shorten it and screwed it in from the bottom. In addition, the welding/soldering is very flimsy and weak. The collar is together but we will store it as is and not try to take it apart for fear that it will break completely. Next I tried to put the light strings inside the collar. Of the three light strings provided, one doesn't work. You turn the lights on and off with a tiny switch that hangs inside the collar. Once the tree is up and decorated inside the collar, I question how practical it will be to try to reach inside and turn these switches on/off. Instead I'll probably use a light string of my own and run the cord out. For whatever reason, these collars are out of stock everywhere but Amazon and Amazon sure charged a premium price. Disappointed all around. Buy one of these only if you are completely in love with the look and can deal with all the problems.

There are NO instructions how to string up the lights within the stand so that they can be seen through the cut outs. It's just kind of thread through the hooks. Looks kinda crappy actually.Also, the battery is not strong enough to keep the lights on all the time. You'll have to go back inside the stand to find the on/off switch so you can only have the lights on when you absolutely need/want them too...otherwise, the battery will die by the end of your first night. That was disappointing. I bought this specifically because it had the lights feature. I thought how cool and unique. Didn't expect the battery not to be strong enough to last long enough to enjoy the lights for days ahead of Christmas.
