Doesn’t fit a Wilkinson Sword razor so requested a refund. Can’t speak for its quality as unable to use. Only posting a review in case other Wilkinson Sword razor owners are considering a purchase. Great idea in principle but I think I’ll look at more flexible materials in a guard

Let's get this straight, this Safety Razor Blade Guard fits over the head of my safety razor like a glove. It protects the razor, my fingers and my cats from injury. It does exactly what it is meant to do.Here's the rub: It is a piece of plastic, a small piece of moulded plastic worth mere pennies. It sells for a fiver.The fact that it does what it's supposed to and the fact that I feel ripped off by the cost of it creates a sense of cognitive dissonance that I can't ignore. Were this to be a couple of pounds, it would be a five star item.

Four pounds for a 10p piece of plastic! Granted it came in a pretty little cardboard sleeve (which you throw away) and it does what it claims by slipping over the blade but come on, it's flimsy and will soon need replacing. In fact, it looks like a disposable item. Go for a leather version at a much lower price.

Expensive at full price ,in the region of ten pounds. I was looking at right time and got it for £4 . This is still expensive though for pennies worth of plastic .On the plus side ,it looks well made and durable.If you pay full asking price you will feel robbed ,just my opinion.

Yes it is expensive but I think it is well worth the money. I keep my Muhle razor out on display in the bathroom and the guard looks great on it. I also have a 4 year old grandson to think about and don't want him touching a razor blade. It is extremely well made and fits my Muhle safety razor like a glove, nice and snug and safe. Can't fault it you will not be disappointed.
