Great value for price!
Very affordable set of microphones that have surprisingly good sound. All the mics except for the condensers are heavily cased and feel substantial in the hand. They don't "feel" cheap. The four drum mounts are designed well, but may require 90* connectors depending on player and placement. The large diaphragm mic picks up a lot of bass from my bass rig, but I don't have it inside the kick drum.. so I guess I should expect it. The case is convenient, but not very strong. It kind of needs its own case, but I'm already doing that. I look forward to using these tools until i feel the need to upgrade them, which could be a long time. For the price of this kit, you could cover a medium sized drum set very effectively and economically with two of them.

Another "go to" mic set
It's good to have a variety of microphones to pick from when trying to get that "just right" sound, and often times the more affordable ones amaze me. A different mic can make a huge difference in weird acoustics.

Had older audiovox. These blow them away. Both on drum and overhead options. Use for live sound. Not sure about studio

Sometimes the little things are the big things
First off, it's a cheap mic set. I knew this going in, but figured I'd spend a smidge more on the Presonus because the name is more familiar than some of the other sets on Amazon. They sounded "okay". I wasn't expecting to be blown away, but they were overwhelmingly blah. They were quiet, so that was a plus. What frustrated me most is the orientation of the xlr pins won't let a right angle cable set properly. The cable will stick up in the air instead of down. This is a fundamental design oversight. These are drum mics... clearance and space are always an issue and right angle jacks are pretty common here. These are going back and I'll try the Pyle or similar.

Solid but lacking
The construction of these mics are solid. I just wish the ST4 mics had a little more low end reception in them. Granted for the price point can't complain, too much. Regardless, that's a problem I felt needed to be addressed.
