Needed a replacement because the clip failed after many years of use. Great to very easily get a replacement from Big Jon

These are super simple to use. Like any down rigger release they take a minute to adjust and probably a few false releases but once they are adjusted they work for ever with out changing. I can load the rod heavily and not get false releases, yet light enough to release on the hit. We use them primarily for Kokanee Salmon but you could turn up the tension for larger game.
