I wear an xl top, bust size 40-42, not any of the sizes listed would be a good fit for me. What are you using to measure body areas?

Does this body suit work well for petite ladies? Body suits tend to be too long and leave huge gaps near the snaps. I'm 5 ft, 100 lbs. 32A.

It says "true to size" but i wear a us size 8/m and my measurements (bust 40", waist 33", hips 40") put me at an xxl/us size 20/22. which is it?
