From Boys to Men: Formations of Masculinity in Late Medieval Europe (The Middle Ages Series)

As an undergraduate historian, this book was one of the most helpful to me in writing some of my papers. Karras is easy to read, and is easy to understand. Make no mistake, this is not an easy subject to get one's head around. From a medievalist and a feminist historian, this work really does delve into the constructions of gender for men in the medieval period, a topic I think does not get as much attention as it deserves, and this is the work to introduce it.

It was greater than expected. I loved how informative it was. I cannot wait to enjoy my gorgeous flowers blooming.
