Awesome Reference Tool
I love my NET Bible!SInce I received it I've used it in almost every church service, and for every personal Bible studying I do.The notes are a great tool that briefly but clearly show how the translators arrived at that translation. It has awesome other reference helps that I've used as well. Currently, I sit with my KJV Bible and have the NET Bible open to the same passage, so I study the two translations in parallel. It's been really helpful in clearing up some things, as well as revealing new things that I wouldn't have noticed in the KJV.As for the book itself:It's gorgeous. The leather is real and solid, the pages are beautiful and sturdy enough, and the black and white maps at the back of the Bible are very clear and helpful.I absolutely love this Bible, and have no regrets in buying it. I would recommend it to anyone at all as a great reference tool for your studies, or even as a primary Bible to read through (it is very readable). Definitely a good buy!

Absolutely Love!!!
I'm so excited that this copy is small and compact! It's a perfect size for me!!! I have been using this version for the last 10 years. I switched to a kindle version because the original copy I had had all the notes and was too large and cumbersome to carry around with me. I finally found a book copy that works for me :D

It is lovely. Very handy to carry. Only "negative" - the paper is quality but thin, so it's a little tricky turning pages. I think this will improve as I use it more - kind of a "new book" issue.

Four Stars
Easy to understand, wish it came in a larger print.

I was hoping for better accuracy to the Greek and Hebrew
I have been searching for a translation that I can just pick up and read, trusting it to be true to the greek and hebrew. I bought it because Dr James White, a bible scholar had this Bible version for sale on his website. Many parts that I read were accurate, others were not, I did not read the whole thing.I will mention 2 places:Judges 15:20, Samson "led" Israel for twenty years during the days of Philistine prominence. My comment: The word "led" is "judged" in hebrew. Everyone knows what judged means; the word did not have to be changed, and this story appears in the book of Judges. (The footnote for the word "led" says: Traditionally: judged;) Truth is important. Be led by Gods Spirit, look things up as He leads. The second place I will mention is John 3:36, The one who believes in the Son has eternal life. The one who "rejects" the son will not see life, but Gods wrath remains on him.My comment: there is no footnote to tell you what the word "reject" is in the greek, the greek word is "apeitheo" which means to "not believe" why not just translate it correctly? Those words do not mean the same thing in the english. Truth is important. Be led by Gods Spirit, look things up as He leads.I have to say that there are other verses that are translated very well, and give a clear understanding.

New English Translation but fewer translations
I got this to be my carry around bible and it has not disappointed. I has far fewer translations but it gives your different perspectives on what can be hard to understand parts of the bible. Very handy. Lightweight…easy to carry with you due to the smaller size. Another one that I'm glad is in my arsenal!

5 Stars Forever!
God's Word is forever 5 stars--what fun! Nice binding and good print--amazing what new technology does to print on thinner paper. Plus current translation

It was the exact Bible represented, however the cover was not attached to the back page. I've glued it, seems to be holding, so all is well!
