Does keep a charge, and does not recharge.
I am throwing this thing away as it will not keep a charge or will not recharge. We used it for light retail. Used throughout the day, and then would charge on the cradle all night long. Within an hour or less it would be beeping at you. It will not recharge quickly and would not be well suited for a large warehouse or high use area. We were using it in a retail environment with maybe 50 transactions a day, but as mentioned it does not keep a charge and then just starts to beep. Actually at this point can not be used other than corded. Will be getting my money back with the credit card company since Amazon has a horrible return policy on this item. Battery life is 0 stars, Value for Money is 0 stars, but I had to put a 1 in there. The only good thing about it was the company who responded fast to my original inquiry about how to change a setting.

Despite "positive" reviews for freebies or kick-back rewards, not a good buy
After three devices and two returns, I finally have one that seems to work. But don't expect the "Chinglish" manual to be much help with programming, and customer support is generally pointless. E.g., manual item 13 has scan codes to set to four other languages when using the USB-base...but you apparently must reset to the factory settings to restore the scanner to English. But no problem when running via direct bluetooth.Or you must send an email to support and wait for an answer...been there, useless. And even if you can manage another manual language, forget it. It's in English there, too.
