Since lockdown and the closure of all local pools. It only made sense to continue our swims in the sea, as we live just a 3 minute walk from the ocean. I need to keep active as I am currently suffering from high blood pressure.However when doing so, you want to do this responsibly and make some adjustments.You probably think, oh I can swim so why would I need something like this?I'll explain, the sea is unpredictable and just 32 cubic feet of water weighs around a tonne.Even the most competent, Olympic swimmer would struggle to compete with an unexpected large wave.For the most part it is totally safe to swim at sea, but please especially if your letting your children go, or have any kind of medical issues that could put you in danger. Then please please get some kind of safety device.It doesn't have to be this one. I purely liked it because as standard they come in orange and high viz yellow and pink just seemed like a novelty.This particular one is really good quality and the waist strap more than accommodates my size 18 frame. It can also be used for kayaking and paddle boarding.In those cases can replace a bulky vest. If you are a confident swimmer.You can double it up as a dry bag and pop your keys inside if need to.All in all its an absolute life saver.Pun fully intended 😂😂 oh and it comes with a free phone case.I find these really handy for Bath time. Nothing like browsing your phone or doing some, shopping on amazon in a nice hot bath.

I bought this for on the kayak, its really bright so easily seen but also the bag itself has been used several times and not let water in. I haven't used it as a buoyancy aid so can't comment on that, but it certainly stays inflated. I keep my phone in the seperate dry bag which is perfect for taking photos while on the water and making sure your phone is safe from being dropped in the water/splashes etc. I do need to take the case off for it to fit in (p20 Pro).

Got this as had started doing wild swimming in Lewis and Harris - lets me keep my phone and keys safe as well as making sure I'm nice and visible and not mistaken for a seal. Inflates very easily and maintains pressure. Also easy to clean.Would thoroughly recommend.

Brilliant for open water. I have used this a couple of times as. Swim float. The dry bag is secure and separated from the air bag so you can get in and out easily.You don’t notice swimming with the bag / it’s super comfy.Holds my weight well when I want to stop for a rest. In fact 2 of us were hanging onto it and it coped really well.2 of my friends have since bought one they were so impressed

Used for open water swimming, strap is very long, so fits extremely easily around my big waist. Keeps small items dry and keeps you visible!

Does the job as a float but you have to open the whole thing to use as drybag so not brilliant

Dry bag is perfect size to fit all your clothes and keys wallet ect in, meaning nothing has to be left on the beach. Downside phone case was poor quality and broke on first use.
