Excellent Can Light LED Update
These LED light adapters are easy to install if you have can lights with c clips for the springs. We updated all of our recessed lighting the house, which was installed in 1995. We are doing many update projects and this was a must. After a lot of research, I went with these lights, because bright white is a must and you want the light to creat a seal in the can area, so you shouldn’t have flies or any other issues that may have been present with the old can and bulbs. These lights fit all of our 5” cans but we needed to buy 1 separate light for a 4” can, so know your size! These were true to the instructions that once you’re going, it takes under 2 mins to do each and no tools needed. This box of 12 is a great option if you have a lot of lights to update. Pay attention to the per unit price provided by Amazon.

Hands down worth the price and simple to install
This product was beyond my expectations! Let me say why.My application that I bought the lights for:I have 15 exterior can lights on my house. Conventional bezels leave a 'nice' little 3/8th inch gap around the bulb which the wasps in my area love. Just think...free access to make my hive and torment this homeowner. This bezel (and light) solved this gap issue. It was super easy to install (check), gave a solid surface to keep the wasp/nats/bees/hornets out (check), look great (check) and gave more light than I had before (yea). So to the details:If you open the top of the box, there is a layer of the bulb connecter/transformer on the top layer and right under that is each of the bezels. Good way of transporting the product. It also made it easy to work out of, which was a surprise.I, armed with a long adapter on my vacuum, started to dissassemble the existing configuration. The work itself took less than 2 minutes start to finish, but I had to deal with these creatures that love to zap you, especially when you hang around their nests. So the vacuum did a good job with the ones behind the surfaces, but, I did plenty of jump and run as the wasps came out MAD.My units had a bezel already, so equipped with my favorite long nose pliers, I unset both the hard side, then the easy side, while holding the bezel in place. At least this is what I ended up doing after get dumped with dust, dead wasps, live wasps and other crap that was lying behind the bezel. Then I took my vacuum and slowly lowered one side, sucking as much as I could. This worked pretty well overall.Next, I vacuumed that cavity nicely. I could have put the new unit up at that time, which I did the first couple bezels, but on the third, I heard that scarry zzzzzz sound inside the plate that the light bulb screws into. Not cool.So I unscrewed the wing nut, held the bracket against the edge and grabbed the side of the bracket and started rotating that around so I could see what was inside.YIKES...another mad dash off the step ladder so the wasps wouldn't get me.After a few minutes, back to the vacuum sucking the stuff behind. Turns out that the full 6" base of the recessed housing was filled with about 1" of wasp comb. I mean completely across. With plenty of active larva still in the combs...The bottom line, is for me, taking out all the elements to make sure it is clean was a peace of mind thing...and probably would keep that cavity clear of wasps for a while. Now that the wasp debris was cleared, installation was simple.insert the bulb screw into like a light bulb.Hold the orange plug from the bezel and connect it from the bulb adapter.Compress the first side into the double hook in the recessed light fixture.Compress and insert the other side.Slowly push up on the unit, making sure that the power was out of the way. This probably took less than 2 minutes. After I was done with the first one, I turned on the light and had my wife look at it. She loved them! The units looked like they had enough brightness during the day, and then at night, I think they were a bit brighter than the bulbs that I replaced.I have used LED bulbs for years. The owners of this house still have plenty of halogen and incandescent bulbs, and even a few CFD (fluorescent). So I know I will get some energy efficiency out of these LED bulbs. I will also get consistent light on all the exterior bulbs. The bottom line is these bezels/bulbs are worth the investment. At under $6/bulb with the bezel it is affordable. New bezels themselves are typically over $10/bezel and it is hard to find dimmable LED recessed lighting bulbs for less than $2/bulb.My wife loved the project so much that we intend to replace the interior can lights with these bulbs. So I expect another 2 box order (I think we have 22 cans in our house).

this worked
I bought daylight which is very bright and industiral looking, good for a hallway. For the kitchen a warmer color would be oreffered to most people IMO. Very easy to install, smart design.

Great customer support
Lights are decent for the price. They do seem to run a little hot, but I think it'll be OK. I purchased two 12-packs and had a couple issues with two of the lights. I contacted customer support and they immediately responded back and sent out a couple replacements with minimal questions asked and minimal hassle. Very happy overall.

Awesome product.
I have a large home and three years ago I changed out all of my old canned lights to these. Looking up my old order today to see how long they’ve lasted with regular use and yes, it’s been three years. The one that just went bad was in the kitchen and is frequently used and left on.Easy to install because the original can stays in place. Each light was upgraded in a few mins. All of the fixtures look great without painting. The light color was amazing as well.I also bought an extra case to use as future spares as I wasn’t sure how long these would actually last. Needless to say I have enough spares knowing they last so long.Very happy.

Super bright and easy to install
Super bright and easy to install even for a lady. I changed my ugly-looking light cones in my bedroom to this LED and they fit perfectly. they turned my bedroom from an old last century style to a modern looking in just minutes. The only thing I didn't notice was that these lights were not adjustable for the brightness. So my bedroom becomes tooooo bright. So, be careful if you don't want that.
