Works grait!
I leave in desert dry climat and just ha a new born. She could not eat and sleep well due to exessive mucuse cosed by dry air.In 3 days two of this units brought humidity to normal in my bedroom and living room.In about a week, my bayb begin to breath throu her nose !Works for me!

Good product
Works as advertised. Quiet. Shuts off when out of water. I have to fill the reservoir every day, but that just means it's working overtime during this cold winter.

QUIET! Honestly!
Our search is over! We used to own two Venta humidifiers and they worked fine for a few years, but then broke about the same time. So here we are, AGAIN, looking at reviews all over the internet in search of two quiet and reliable humidifiers. "QUIET" is what we were looking for and we almost bought new Ventas in the absence of something else, when we came across two similar but more sophisticated airwashers: Winix and Winia. Similar technology as Venta, but more bells and whistles. We purchased one of each and we are HAPPY with both. Very quiet!!!! I would say more quiet that Venta even on the highest setting. Amazing! Not sure that the hygrometers are accurate, but they keep up with the dry air in New Mexico and able to raise the humidity in our bedrooms from 20% or below to at least 45%. So far, so good. We had them for about a month. I will be back after a while with more comments on durability.

After less than 2 years use, the upper water ...
After less than 2 years use, the upper water level sensing probe contact became loose; and now the control unit will not operate because it senses an open circuit (giving a false low water level indication which will not allow the humidifier to operate). The upper probe is threaded; however, the matting connection has fallen and is rattling within the molded plastic case. I cannot see any way to repair without breaking open the case.

Great product and very quiet, It keeps moisture in the air. I had a few nights where I didn't run it and I could tell the difference because the nights it was not on I woke up with dry mouth...
