If I remember right it is surprisingly simple. I think you just screw the legs into the body at. The four corners. I hope I am remembering correctly. I really like this bench and I hope I helped.

Is the color beige? The one photo looks more ivory & the description said beige in one place & white in another.

The color is closer to beige, not ivory. I recovered the bench with my own fabric…not that easy but it worked.

From the floor to the underside of the seat, the measurement is 14 inches. When measuring from the floor to the wood frame, it is 12 inches
