GREAT VALUE AND DURABILITY
I was very surprised upon receiving the vinyl. It was a much bigger then expected roll.. I thought I was getting like a 12x24 roll.. but when it was delivered. wow!Not gonna lie, it takes some patience learning how to get the vinyl to stay in place and adhere to what it is your re-up holstering...I'm still experimenting with different adhesives and methods of applying them..I think I'm going to try HIDE GLUE or possibly even wood glue or a mix of elmers glue and wood glue and hideglue for getting the vinyl to adhere to the plastic trim panel on the interior door panels of my 99 passat.vinyl cement works well but not the best choice for vinyl projects inside the home /apartment.If you have a garage or basement or work area with adequate ventilation go for it!After watching YouTube Videos I think I'll end up going with Hide Glue because of its workability and ease of clean-up not to mention its safe for indoor do it yourselfers who must get projects done, in apartment, house or office, without the hazards associated with solvent based adhesives.Polyethylene glue (gorilla glue) if my memory serves me correctly defenitly works but make sure you get it right where you want it, and account for the glue to expand significantly (x2 the applied amount after dry)This does not work well for me because I'm a noob and managed to get the gorilla glue EVERYWHERE! and its a nasty skin irritant as it cures faster in the presence of moisture (skin has lots of moisture and that stuff (gorilla glue) will end up getting on the front side of the vinyl. (bad) let it be known gorilla glue is great stuff - just a limited use in this application!I had an idea of trying to lay the vinyl entirely with hot glue at a lower temp... so that i can easily glue small section by small section (5"x5") working your way from bottom to top stretching out all wrinkles and makining sure there are no wrinkkes or in the curvey areas........ then once its 100% hot glued and hopefully some what molded, ill take the hot glue off and hopefully keep the vinyl formed while reapplying (the vinyl cement)I'll try to post a video here in the near future..I highly recommend this product.very Very good value for the price of 10 bucks. i spent 20 bucks and got this huge roll!. which was roughly 20 - 30 bucks for a single yard.but Order this and get 4-5 times that!! and it's great quality.have fun and be safe yall!Keep it Creative! Keep it Safe! keep it fun!

Here's (almost) everything you need to know about this product!
I'm a costume designer and needed a cost-effective white leather substitute for a project, but I submitted this product to my usual battery of tests before using it. Here are my results:Stretch: This product is not intended to stretch, though due to the weave of the fabric backing, it is prone to stretching very slightly on the weft when put under pressure. It does not stretch at all along the warp, which made it perfect for the belts and accessories I was making. (The warp is the long direction of the roll, parallel to the manufactured edge. The weft runs across the width of the roll, perpendicular to the manufactured edge.)Texture: The surface is more textured than typical garment or upholstery leather, but the pattern is fairly subtle and is not visible from a few feet away. The vinyl has a satin finish with low gloss.Thickness: My calipers measured this at 0.8mm thick.Stitching: The vinyl is pliable and easy to run through a sewing machine. I tested it with an inexpensive home sewing machine and didn't have any trouble stitching through two layers. You will not need a leather machine or special equipment to sew this material unless you're stacking it several layers thick.Compatibility: I was able to fuse fabric and foam to the reverse side using Heat-n-Bond thermal adhesive (iron on low heat to avoid melting the vinyl, obviously). Low-temperature thermoplastic (Worbla's Black Art) did not adhere to the fabric backing, but stuck moderately well to the vinyl side with no adhesive. E6000 glue did not adhere particularly well to either side; glued layers could be peeled apart with minimal effort.Durability: I was not able to tear this product from a clean cut edge with bare hands, though when I notched the fabric (mimicking a puncture or small tear), I was able to continue the rip through the material. It did take a fair amount of effort, though, much like tearing heavy fabric.Comparable product: The appearance and behavior are similar to Arctic vinyl from JoAnn Fabrics (which currently only comes in black and gray). The Arctic vinyl is very slightly thicker (1.0mm) and a bit glossier than this product, but they handle about the same.I did not have the facilities to test this product for heat or cold resistance.

Beautiful
The quality is excellent and it’s much prettier than I even expected. I will be buying more from this vendor in the future.

Great Product & Easy to Use
we had chairs with bonded leather that were peeling and looked awful. I didn't want to pay $80-90 per chair for a pro to redo them...we have 8 chairs. The cost alone made us look at new dining sets, but ours is sturdy and perfect except chair cushions. So I bought some bating and this vinyl in black and redid them myself. The first chair I did I took off the old cover and strated fresh. There were so many staples to pull out I just decided to re-wrap the chairs as-is for the rest. I know a professional would cringe at the thought, but I'm an an amatuer trying to keep the house together with four kids trying to tear everything apart. Anyway, this vinyl was very very easy and forgiving to use. It stretches perfectly where you need to stretch a wrinkle at corners. I used a T50 stapler gun and would push the vinyl as I stapled to get a good tight fit without creases. Don't be alarmed by the smell when you get it...it's bad because it's been wrapped in a roll unable to breathe. I rolled it onto the lawn and let it sit in the sun for a day and can't smell a thing. The vinyl has a realy nice texture and looks like leather and feels good to the hands. It does not feel plasticky or cheap. I recommend it. I did all my chairs with one roll.

Excellent product
Excellent product even though one yard is about the same cost as postage to deliver since it isnt free prime delivery. But hey, at least it arrives rolled and not folded. Did some youtube to see how to do it on my weight bench and came out excellent. Harbor Freight heat gun (or hair drier) is pretty much essential in getting the corners flat, again thanks to youtube!
