Warriors Manga: Ravenpaw's Path #3: The Heart of a Warrior

If you are into cats you will enjoy this warrior series of graphic novels.
This interesting book is part of the Warrior series and is about various cat warrior clans. In this story (Warriors: Ravenpaw’s path: The heart of a warrior created by Erin Hunter, written by Dan Jolley and art by James L. Barry) series, Ravenpaw and best friend Barley have been forced from their home on a large farm by some rogue vicious and mean cats. They came to the Thunderclan for help because Ravenpaw was born a Thunderclan and has asked them for help to get their farm home back. This is a graphic novel of how the Thunderclan warrior cats help Ravenpaw and Barley drive the rogue cats off the farm in order for them to regain their home. The illustrations are great and the story moves along with both ups and downs; however, the warrior cat clans are successful in their quest.Even though this was obviously made for young readers; nevertheless, it was an enjoyable read. If you are into cats you will like this series.Rating: 4 Stars. Joseph J. Truncale (Author: Wakizashi-Jutsu: An official manual of Bushi Satori Ryu).

A must have for anyone who loves Warriors!
My 11-yr old son has every Warriors book. He reads them faster than they can put them out. I didn't know if he'd love these as much, just because they are more of a comic-type book than the regular books, but he does. He looks for them, waits for them to come out, he loves them, too. So I get every one. And then he reads them over and over. Great series!

but the graphic novel format is excellent for developing reading skills
The book was delivered on time. Condition was exactly as described. It turns out my child is a little young yet for the Warriors storyline, so we have to skip the "scary parts", but the graphic novel format is excellent for developing reading skills.
