Worth it.
After a month of hiking in Oregon, I'm absolutely thrilled with these. They are warm yet breathable, comfortable out of the box, look great, and the traction is awesome. They are light as regular tennis shoes.I go through small streams regularly, like halfway to ankle deep, and have not had a leak. When they get muddy I just dip my feet in a clean stream and they're clean (enough) fast! The outside of the front is absorbent like regular fabric, and I feel like when it is wetted out that it may theoretically inhibit the breathability, but I have not observed this in practice. The rest of the shoe is apparently breathable enough to the point where this "wetted out" portion doesn't affect the overall breathability. The waterproof layer is deeper so no water penetrates to socks. I haven't noticed any appreciable weight increase while wet either. So, absolutely no complaints and I highly recommend!

Didn't know what to expect...
Buying online is always an unknown. I didn't know what to expect when ordering these since my only cross reference for hiking boots were my Australian Blundstones. These fit as expected (half size bigger). They are comfortable, really lightweight, and very grippy in dry earth, gravel, grass, mountain rock. While I haven't tried them in wet snow, they seemed pretty good on hard-packed snow and ice, perhaps better than the Blundstones that are tough on all surfaces and in the cold. I recommend these for the casual hiker.

Roclites are Rock Solid
This is my second pair of Roclite hiking boots with the Goretex waterproof liner and these are just as good as the first. I'm not necessarily a huge fan of the color accents (I liked the all black look of my last pair). But I thought I'd try this newer pair for 2 reasons. The sole was supposed to have better traction and that's never a bad thing. And my last pair fit a little narrow, even with thinner socks. I don't know that these are any less narrow. I'm glad I got a half size larger this time around. But the traction in snow and ice was better than I remember from my last pair. And I can vouch for the fact that these are indeed waterproof, not just resistant. Now, to see if they'll hold up to all the miles I plan to put on them in 2019.

All rounder !
Great shoe for hiking and running. Superb grip, best I’ve experienced in an trail shoe.

Tough, lightweight, lots of grip
This is the only pair of hiking shoes I have ever owned so I'm no expert but I really like them. I bought them to climb Misti and they got the job done. My feet stayed warm and dry and I felt very confident and surefooted with the grip they provided

Loose lacing can cause blisters
The strings are thin, slippery and there is no way to control the tension at intermediate points. Any brand worthy of the name has strings that allow and lock tension adjustment at intermediate points. So much so that any person involved in outdoor activity came to expect it by default. Any hiker can tell on how important this aspect is. Took these shoes on a 6 miles easy hike on a hot day. Re-tied shoes countless of times, tried everything under the sun, they still caused hot spots and blisters. The strings cannot hold the tension well on uneven terrain and allow micromovement. What good is the list of its great features if the lacing system can cause a disaster? Let me state it again: you must be able to independently adjust the tension around the toes, midfoot and ankle. And that tension better hold during the hike. Can you do that? Guess not.

Lightweight and comfortable
Took a few days (10 miles of walking) to break in but after that I was able to do a nine mile hike without any issues or hot spots.

Lightweight but great on hills
Really impressed by these boots. Very lightweight but I've done some long days and big hills in them and they are great. Grip well, waterproof and comfortable. And they look nice too!

Nice boots, BUT...
I love INOV8 shoes. These hiking boots are well built and generally comfortable. HOWEVER, INOV8 shoes and boots generally fit small. In any other sports shoe, I usually take a 27.5 cm, which is a 9.5 US. However, because INOV8 fit small, I ordered these in size 28 cm, which is US 10.Unfortunately, the toe-box of these hiking boots is rather narrow, so I found that I should have ordered a full cm bigger, ie 28.5 cm. If you do any serious hiking and don't order a full cm bigger, you will likely find that your toes get smashed up when going on extended downhill stretches, because of the narrow, tight toe box.My toes took a real beating. Order a full cm larger.

軽い
まず軽さに驚く。履き心地も良し。ミッドだが足首周りも違和感無し。以前のモデルより若干余裕の作りになっているので試着をオススメします。
