The Boogeyman

Giving this DVD 3 stars. I am very impressed with the DVD translation of The Boogeyman. It looks and sounds way better than the original VHS version. Giving this 3 stars because this set has The Boogeyman and Return Of The Boogeyman aka (Boogeyman 3). What happened to Boogeyman II. Why wasn't this included in the set with both, or just a double feature of 1 & 2. Part 1 is a good movie, and you will enjoy watching, but part 3 is a true stinker. Watch it if you must, especially if you did see part 2, but you will not like it. Part 2 was just ok at best because of too much flashbacks from the original, but I still really enjoyed the creative kills and the movie after once it got moving. I did have the original VHS of part 2 and I dubbed it to a DVD+RW disc, so it works for me. Part 3 is just not enjoyable at all and is worse than Creepshow 3, House 2, Day Of The Dead 2: Contagium or any other bad film. If you getting this set for Boogeyman, then do it. Just skip the other stinker. Great buy if u get this set really cheap.

I saw this movie when I was in my Junior year of high school. I was 16. It played at the local downtown theatre for a buck and a quarter. When I got home that night, I took down every mirror in my bedroom and slept with the lights on. I'm not getting what all these people are saying about how bad it was though. I completely disagree. If you've read the many descriptions of the film here already, then I don't need to reiterate anything. My only wish for this movie would have been in the scene when Lacey sees the Boogeyman in the mirror in the house where she grew up; instead of throwing the chair at the mirror and breaking it, I would have liked to have seen HIM (The Boogeyman) trying to get out of the mirror FIRST for a few minutes (punching the glass with his fists, kicking it, etc...) and THEN have her break it with the chair. THAT was the scariest scene in the whole movie to me. That dude was FRIGHTENING with the pantyhose over his head! To this day, I'm 46 now (30 years later), this movie still scares the crap outta me! LOL!

Came on time and in good condition! I liked the movie! Thank you once again!

Although, The Boogeyman is worth watching and very entertaining for what it is, I can't help but feel ripped off by the movie on the other side of the disc titled Return of the Boogeyman. Basically, a psychic woman narrates the original movie for you claiming that she's having nightmares about it. It's like watching the original movie with some annoying commentator giving you a play by play of what you have already seen. Not to mention, whoever put this movie together also stole a scene from another movie called Brainwaves (the tub scene where the woman is electrocuted by the radio).Return of the Boogeyman is boring, a waste of time. A waste of money if you buy it. View at your own risk. You were warned.;-)

Quite a weird supernatural slasher flick. Not quite how I remembered it from years ago. Glad I picked up the DVD though for super cheap. Didn't watch the Return of the Boogeyman, since all horrible reviews scared me away.

This product came in good condition as promised by the seller but the movie itself had a lot to be desired in order for it to be a better movie. I like horror movies but I like them to be somewhat scary. Oh Well, I guess you can't expect all of them to be on the level! After thinking about it for a minute, this movie actually sucked!
